Sooo PoE stays as "past content and is played for "nostalgia"" while ToO gets a year 2 upgrade with new weapons? gameinformer podcast
so the PvE "endgame content" is carved out, while PvP content is upgraded ?
WHY? just because you jus need to add some guns and armor ? instead of adding actual content?

Im still going to play Skolas at lvl 40 just to get the Dreggs which is last one i need and for all the Elemental guns for Collection purposes.

I would rather we be able to upgrade my current ToO gear than have to go through that mess again.

1 ReplyPlanned obsolescence. They can't give us a great product, if we aren't willing to pay every time there is an expansion! I mean, those of us who paid all this money for a sub standard product so far, only deserve real improvement to content if we shell out even more money for an expansion that ultimately limits our gameplay choices by reducing the relevance of activities we've grown to enjoy anyway! Yay, what is next for us to leave behind? Or that is what it seems Bungie is saying.

Because Trials is the ONLY PvP endgame content. Iron banner is an event Crucible is their equivalent of strikes We have strikes Raids Queens stuff (Not really but eh.) Court of Oryx Other events will probably come into play too.

The better question is who actually cares about PoE, really apart from wanting one of the 3 exotics who finds it fun? It has no matchmaking and no checkpoints. Leave it be focus on something important that's my thoughts on the matter.

Well, trials is pretty good, unless you just plain suck. Poe is ok, if you have a Gjallarhorn and know how to aim.

8 RepliesMaybe because PvE is getting new content? Idk about you but I haven't seen anything really big that is coming to PvP in TTK. Raid, strike, public events.....all new, redone. PvP? Stays the same just redone a bit. So please think from both sides before complaining. I'm an all around player. I play PvE and PvP about the same amount. Try it.

Umm, trials of osiris was the first endgame for PvP that depended on level (unless you count iron banner) and you're gonna get plenty of new PvE stuff to do. We've done all of that PvE stuff like 50 times over.

1 ReplyPvE endgame is now Kings Fall. They aren't "carving it out" they're carving new content [i]in[/i]. They can't just get rid of trials, upgrading it was obviously the thing to do

11 Repliesthe only "end game" content for PVP is TOO or Iron Banner so they have to update the weapons / armor to give PVP players something to do. PVE gets a new raid and new strikes. Seems fine to me.
