Sooo PoE stays as "past content and is played for "nostalgia"" while ToO gets a year 2 upgrade with new weapons? gameinformer podcast
so the PvE "endgame content" is carved out, while PvP content is upgraded ?
WHY? just because you jus need to add some guns and armor ? instead of adding actual content?

2 RepliesBecause PvP players currently only have ToO to reach max level with etherics. PvE players only have the PoE without using etherics. After TTK, both types of players will still have one way for each playstyle to reach max light. I don't understand your complaint. Do you hate that PvP players now actually have a way to reach max level without raiding?

Even before it wasnt worth playing PoE.. its rewards are crap.. pass them a couple times each then got bored. So good thing its being left behind.. same is happening to VoG & CE.. they'll prob remain at the same & should be a cake walk but are way better than PoE

I dont see the problem. Let's not even talk about how PoE would need more work to make it to year 2 or the fact that it wasn't very fun and wasn't really popular. You are thinking about ToO as some type of end game raid or new content. It's essentially a special playlist like iron banner, why would they leave it behind. You sound like some scorned pve guy who is jealous of pvp stuff not being left behind. Not cool bro

Well if anyone thought that ToO was going to be left behind then they must not have been using their head. It will go on just like iron banner will have upgraded armor and materials. Besides POE sucked haha.

The thing is I really don't mind prison of elders I actually find it a little bit fun. if the rewards were better I think it would be perfect. it's all about the loot and the only thing that they screwed up on major league is poor loot. I wish they would give it year two rewards and then it could be revived I think.

If there was a new endgame PvP added with TTK, I could see them doing the same thing with Trials, but as of now there is only Trials, Iron Banner and the new Weekly crucible bounties for good PvP loot, while PvE has Kings Fall, Court of Oryx, Vanguard Heroic Playlist (yes I am including this, especially since new strikes give out much better gear now), Nightfall and new loot quest lines. I say its fair that Trials gets its update for TTK.

King's Fall. Court of Oryx. Improved strikes. Improved patrol. More shenanigans to pull with friends in PvE. I guess Bungie and the community is currently content with what they have to offer PvP players with Trials and Iron Banner. I'm sure Bungie has a bunch of statistics and whatever to help support this.

Yeah it's kind of a fail, but who knows they may address it. I had really hoped they'd do something with the vault of glass, you know? Maybe add a harder mode and instead of going into the door where the gatekeeper is, the dead gate by the jumping puzzle would be active and lead us to a new part of the vault.
