Edit 2: in my opinion halo 4 was great. I still had lots of fun with my friends and the story was intriguing but it should've been darker judging by the circumstances.

Halo Reach - Halo 3 focused on the humanity and covenant war, and the flood. Many Characters we know and love died, or left. (RIP Johnson.) The original halo storyline is finished. Halo 4 is the start of the new one. Halo 4 focused on Master Chiefs and Cortanas partnership. It also focused on a new enemy, the prometheans and the Didact, as well as Cortanas rampancy. As well as introduced many new characters. But that original captain, Del Rio has to burn. Who abandons the greatest Spartan on a planet all by himself? Anyways, Chief is taking Cortanas sickness VERY SERIOUSLY. Cortana has saved his ass dozens of times throughout the halo games. In fact, she's probably the reason humanity survived. Since Cortana is "sick", Usually every time Chief talks is to comfort her, and to tell other people to basically piss off. I personally thought Halo 4 was fine. There were only 2 problems: 1. Loadouts have to burn in fire. 2. The soundtrack needs to be 100x better. Halo us known for masterful soundtracks. Halo 4 was nothing compared to Martins. They need to get better.

1 ReplyI started on Halo: CE almost 14 years ago and I've enjoyed every Halo up until Halo 4. It's not that H4 was completely bad in my book. I really enjoyed the campain, but found the PvP to be awful. I'm hoping H5 brings me back, but I'll wait on reviews for that.

Up until 343 sure id agree did not like 4 at all wanted to love mcc but was so unplayable and i actually got the 50 something gig digital version ~deep sigh~ played the halo 5 beta and i honestly disliked it more than 4 somehow. Mcc is much more functional now and has alot more game modes plus rankings so even tho it took them unacceptably long to fix it they have for the most part

Halo 2/3 mp and single player were awsome. Reach single player was sick but its mp was trying to be halo/cod cross and failed at both

Halo 4 was great for about 3 weeks, just enough to play the campaign through and realise the MP was just as shit as Reach's.

3 RepliesWait for the next DLC to be finished before you finish that. Its hardly a legend yet. Maybe if the next raid gets not very buggy, cheaters in crucible get banned and trails becomes a place without full auto hawk thorns, just maybe it'll be a legend. Until its cheaters paradise and buggy shit. They still haven't fixed crota at all... Nor atheon... And nor will they Fix oryx.
