Sooooo what incentive does a new player have to try CE , VoG and PoE???
Cause everything from there is obsolete? Genuine question, not being smart....
Edit: Yeah yeah, they will do it for fun once or twice, no one from them will do CE 20-30 times for a useless crux...

It's truly the most fun you'll ever have, to go through old endgame activities. Who ever said this game had to be a boring, difficult grind when you can enjoy your time playing?

For fun. Vault is still a blast to play even though I need absolutely nothing from it. Materials. Easy glimmer and Motes when you can solo the first few parts of Crota in a few minutes. Elemental weapons. Super easy to get weapons with a burn from either Raid. As said on point #2, solo the first few parts of Crota and Bingo, two burn weapons. Even though they are left behind, they will still help players without burn weapons during Nightfalls and other activities with burn modifiers. Completionists. There is still Grimoire to be earned from both of these Raids onto of shaders, ships, emblems and exotics, all of which are now tracked in collection kiosks which will drive all people that do games for collection events to these Raids.

I enjoy the raids. Prefer VoG to Crota but still play both for fun. I have all I want from both raids and have for a while. Do you remember when Destiny was just a game?

I'm sure I read somewhere that The Taken are going to be added to current missions / strikes, so that the dynamics change. I might have been pissed though.

Not to mention the chase for ships, sparrows, emblems, shaders, etc. That and ascendant and radiant materials will still have intrinsic value.

Like the new exotics, the new raid will have a level requirement higher than that of our current raids. What did you do when CE hit? Did you abandon VOG because it was partially obselete? This is the same. Your lvl 20 gear will still be awesome at lvl 20.
