Does anyone know why they are there? I can't figure out why bungie put it there. I think it has something to do with the dark below, because the omnigul mission goes right by it. I tried looking for it during the mission and it was there, so I think I'm right. Any theories?
edit: just bait guys, move on
edit 2: I'm a day 1 player as well, chill out. Just wanted to have some fun. Bad joke?
edit 3: this has now become a nostalgia thread, what's your favorite?

1 ReplyWrong. That cave is where baby Smoggy was born. Legend says 3 wise vandals came with offerings, before baby Smoggy ripped their limbs off. The fallen were offended by this and sent wave after wave to kill little baby SmoggyPluto. After he had killed a million with nothing but his tiny infant baby hands, they got the message. NO ONE -blam!-S WITH SMOGGYPLUTO.

Its a joke bungie put in because it was a really, really good loot cave that auto spawned thrall and acolytes every five seconds. People spent hours farming for legendary engrams and rares. That is why "a million deaths are not enough for master RAHOOL..."

8 RepliesIt was a loot cave. And a very good one at that. Bungie found out about it and changed the spawn timer for enemies coming out of that cave thereby shutting it down. They put the pile of bones and the message there as a joke.

2 RepliesI do not blame you as you were most likely not here when the game first came out but I shall explain. When the game first came out that cave was well known throughout the Destiny community. It was used to farm decoherent and legendary engrams. The cave used to have a bout a 5-6 second spawn time which would mean people would sit a short distance away from it and shoot the enemies as they came out. This was used A LOT by the community and became FAMOUS. In a update about a week or who later they fixed it so the spawn time was shorter(i.e meaning the farming would take longer and be less efficiang...............I JUST READ THE EDITS YOU ADDED TO THE POST OMG I SPENT ALL THIS TIME TYPING
