What keeps you guys Playing from now until the Taken King?
I've been trying to play with numerous friends but they all tell me that There's not much we can do except for hold on to as much legendary gear, motes of light and the like, and I've already done the Moments of Triumphs as well. I want to play, but I think I hit a glass ceiling!

I just log in for a few minutes... Do public events and whatnot to stash some XP for when the expansion drops

Save up own material which can be traded in for glimmer as you'll be broke within the first 2-3 days. You can also edge your factions so you can have a cool package when it drops.

Daily public events 3x, weekly resets, the hunt for Monte and crux

Collect strange coins and notes of light, and get my rep with the various vendors close to leveling up.

The only thing I've been doing lately is getting my weekly 100 Crucible Marks. I want to make sure I get those 24 accommodations to rank up New Monarchy and maybe get a Shader come TTK.

Collect all exotics lv em up, PvP for fun help out clanmates who need raid weapons ect

Nothing at all, haven't been playing since they confirmed that all gear is becoming obsolete (and not every exotic is coming forward) Don't get me wrong, this is the right thing to do as far as new gear goes, but it also doesn't make the grind if you are already 34 with most exotics worth just throwing gear away after a few hours in TTK.

Stacking on public event packages (currently have 10), stacking on 5000XP bounties (I even have Iron Wrath bounty in inventory), waiting for reset to see if Petra have Archon Slayer bounty to stack that one up as well. Armor materials and weapon parts farming along the way. Especially motes of light and strange coins. When TTK comes I want to be fully prepared. Being level 40 as soon as download finish. It's going to be a long one and we have 3 days after TTK before raid comes out

I've only been playing a few crucible matches daily. I've burned myself out until the taken king.

It's best to take a break for awhile until TTK launches. Whether it's playing other games or doing something else IRL it'll help you feel refreshed and ready for everything TTK has to offer.

I've been stocking up on public event postmaster packages and high xp bounties, as well as getting all my reps with a patrol mission of leveling up.

I'm stuffing my vault full of engrams to level up the cryptarch when TTK launches, so I can hopefully get a legendary engram as a reward and get sweet new TTK legendary gear.
