What keeps you guys Playing from now until the Taken King?
I've been trying to play with numerous friends but they all tell me that There's not much we can do except for hold on to as much legendary gear, motes of light and the like, and I've already done the Moments of Triumphs as well. I want to play, but I think I hit a glass ceiling!

Wow, it's been a while

I've just been finishing a few things here and there in game. As a completionist I finally finished off my grimoire, and just today I bought every emblem and shader I could from certain vendors in case they are being changed when the taken King comes out, that way I can just dismantle them after 2.0 drops and have a close to complete collection. Everything is ready for the taken King for me now, so I haven't been playing destiny as much, but next week I'm going to try out the new crucible stuff, hopefully it gives the grimoire so I can get a head start for the taken King grimoire.

The fun of the crucible nd just friends i party with online. I'm also edging factions nd just trynna get faction stuff like shaders/ships.

I'm in that same boat. Been helping randoms who haven't done their moments of triumphs and stuff. All I do now is go flawless on weekends....trying to get my last piece of trials weapons....that elusive void scholar. Here's a list of things you could do to prepare for TTK....even though sometimes these things aren't that fun: -Save all glimmer bank drops -Save all Royal Am. you might get from POE (Total of 4, 1 on each alt and 1 in vault) -Do raids, save all materials to turn in for motes or glimmer once TTK drops -Make sure you have at least 400 of each planetary material -Make sure you have 200 of each mark before the change takes place so you can get 8 commendations for each alt -Buy as much ammo synth as you can from Xur and other avenues. You can trade these in for Rep -Special ammo too -Stack up on motes of light. Turn in raid mats for motes at the speaker if you want -Stack up on weapon parts and armor parts -Stack up on Daily public event packages, open once you get new subclass to earn rep on them -Stack up 10 5000xp bounties, turn in after new subclass is acquired -Stack up on etheric light in hopes that they let you turn them in for rep or glimmer or motes -Get all of your vendor reps to right before they level up. When you level them up after TTK drops, guaranteed new legendary for each package. -Do the same for the crypt-arch packages
