Lol first of all little desticles, that is one game that ACTUALLY requires skill. I'm so glad there's never been a buff OR nerf to any of the weapons because they don't listen to crybabies who complain cause they can't get kills and get wallbounced. You children (adults with no life) ask for the dumbest buffs & nerfs I've ever seen in my whole life. You guys basically made the game worse by all your complaining. This game requires no skill honestly.. if you think trials is "competitive" you don't know what competitive means and I'm being honest.
Gears of war will ALWAYS be a better franchise, we don't have a community from call of duty cause most people that play cod are little kids that aren't good enough for gears. And for you playstation users, don't even talk shit about gears you guys are considered casuals to us Xbox players. You don't know what skill is.
To the kid Rooster 2011, He's a playstation casual that has currently came out of the closet. So cheers to him!
Edit : this is not bait, I am just stating facts. LET US NOT FORGET. Xbox even put it on the cover of the game "best Xbox game ever made" don't believe me? Go look yourself.
Ninja Edit
Hello OP (or anyone who has decided to open the spoiler and read all of this).
I'm one of the Bungie.Net Ninjas. We may have met before, we may have interacted, you might have heard of us, or you may have no clue as to who we are and what we do. Well, this little note is to explain some of the things we do. One of the major roles we play is to handle the reports that come in whenever a member clicks on the "Report" button, to let us know that there is a post, a topic or a user that either doesn't understand or isn't following the rules that we all agreed to follow when we joined. But that's not the Ninja function that brought on this note.
The reason I am writing this is because I have retagged your thread. Bungie.Net uses hashtags to designate their major forums and to help keep things organized. Your OP (original post) was opened, created or given a hashtag that well, wasn't the best choice. It could have been that you were browsing through the various forum/tags that are available on the site or app, and clicked on "New Topic" while in a forum that didn't "match up" with the subject matter of your OP. Or, you may have thought "this belongs here", when unfortunately, it doesn't.
That's another role of the Bungie.Net Ninjas. We not only try to keep things fun, pleasant and welcoming here by removing rule-breakers, but we also want EVERY good topic to have the best chance to survive, thrive, find the right audience, and get lots of on-topic replies. And so, I have retagged your topic to move it to the forum where it has the best chance of doing that.
I give you my word that I have not altered a single letter or character of your Original Post, just placed this message below it and set the tag to better describe your topic. You may notice that you are unable to edit this post anymore. That is a part of the system, and I apologize for any inconvenience that it may have caused. I've not replied or commented on your OP, since this message would most likely be "off-topic" to your thread and when members see a Ninja or Mentor (who are volunteers from the community) or even a Bungie employee post, they tend to go a little crazy and the disruption to the thread becomes a distraction. I don't want that to happen to your thread. I want it to be in the BEST place possible, to be seen by the largest audience who is looking for this sort of topic, I want it to take root, get replies, grow strong and make these forums a better place.
If you have any questions, you should feel free to PM me. My name is now in the upper right corner of your OP where it says "edited by".
Thanks for your patience, thanks for being a part of this community, thanks for taking the time to read all of this (I hid it in a spoiler so that anyone who clicked couldn't complain about "too long, didn't read"), and thank you in advance for creating your future topics with the forum/tag location in mind.

1 ReplyGoW has always been a shitty franchise with shitty game mechanics.
-
there's nothing lame about Chainsaw Bayonets. but what IS lame is how obnoxious you're being.
-
2 RepliesIt's a weak franchise
-
As someone who owns all platforms I have to giggle at an Xbox player calling someone else "casual".
-
Troll ass troll
-
it is overrated, none of the characters have a personality, and has a weak story.
-
I use to think Gears was lame, then I started getting into the multiplayer. It took me a while to master the wall bounce, now I'm pretty good. Still suck at one shot blind firing, though.
-
1 ReplyGears is lame though. Took me buying the first then playing the second at a friends to see it's not worth it at all. Destiny is at least fun. But wanna know what's better than both. Legend of zelda. Shooting games are not so great. The best shooters have ever offered was halo CE, duke nukem 3d, doom, and portal. (Yeah that's right. Half life is lame too. Didn't see why people loved it so much. Glad I only spent $10 on a steam sale for it ).
-
Well to have to understand. there are a lot of ponies on these forums due to destiny preference being towards ps. So naturally if they don't have the game and it is in the "enemies" selection, It's apparently shi t.
-
2 RepliesCan't people just have their own opinions?
-
15 RepliesGears of war > metal gear solid
-
Sorry never owned it, just now got an Xbox one
-
Played the first 2 - I've passed on them since then.
-
Not lame, just didn't move on. Plus the story turned out to be a let down.

Edited by cholula sins: 9/18/2015 3:41:02 PMI like gears, but it's the only game out there that hasn't got a shotgun right in 9 years. It's the only game where point blanking someone with a shotgun results in the other person turning around and one shoting you like no ones business. It's also the only game out there where you can shoot someone with a shotgun 5 feet away 4 to 5 times and they one shot you and casually walk over or 2 piece you. But yea skittles involved man
-
Different strokes for different folks.
-
Eh, never really liked it. It has a nice story (somewhat) but it's a solid 6.8/10 from me.
-
The way you run in that game looks stupid af
-
It's difficult for me to improve because I have issues with spatial awareness in all 3rd person shooters.
-
Gears of war probably requires the most skill to play (that I have played). Good gears players and good Counter Strike players are the most annoying to play against.
-
Lol gears doesn't take skill silly
-
1 ReplyGoW is not a good game... sry... i just dont like it... however if you wish to reference a game that requires "SKILL" then please refer to arma. Thank you.
-
Bought 3, played a few hours, traded it in
-
