Don't take a day off work when TTK releases.
But take the day after. This way you can play when you come home from work, play all night AND the next day! More playtime for you! :D
Edit: I see 3 types of people in here.
1) People that think Work is more important than a Game. These people are weird.
2) People that think School is more important than a Game, which is true. DON'T SKIP SCHOOL, KIDS!
3) People that go COMPLETELY OVERKILL AND TAKE A MONTH OFF. I like these people.

I took the week off when TDB came out... completed it within the week and got bored after. Took a week off when HoW came out. Did most of it and got bored two weeks after. So this time. I'm not taking time off and going through at my own pace. No rush what so ever. TTK should hopefully take about a month for me to get bored. That's what I'm doing.

Realistically your comment about taking the next day off is good, the reason should really be due to the fact that there will probably be substantial install times and updates stopping you playing on the day it is released.

Ok depends where you work and if you need money. With school, go ahead and skip high school or whatever. Now college? I paid a ton of money for that I ain't skipping anything XD plus I get out at 12pm
