This is an extension to another forum post with the link below. https://www.bungie.net/en/Forum/Post/148961848/0/0/1 As stated in the above post, the 9th of September will be Destiny's aniversary and many guardians will proceed to the old skywatch loot cave to give year one a proper send off. I encourage you to join, but that is not the purpose of this post. The purpose of this forum post is to find out how many of you loyal guardians would like to have the original loot cave back for one more day. During this event, the cave would have a higher chance to drop legendary engrams like it did in the past and the engrams would only contain loot from vanilla destiny. Because this would only last a day, it would make no sense for uncommon items to drop from rare and legendary engrams, so the engrams would follow the current rules except for the items being vanilla. This would not hurt the game because legendaries are not being taken into TTK and this would be merely for nostalgia's sake. Bungie, I ask you to make this change for the game's aniversary. Although this may seem like a boring and meaningless activity, many guardians found their first legendary and exotic weapons in this cave, allowing them to grow. Guardians of all sorts, I call you to sign and like this post if you wish to make this a reality. I cannot guarantee that this will work or that it will even be seen, but it is up to you to raise awarness. We defeated the Vex, masters of time! We must bring back the past once more! I thank you all for reading this and I also thank Bungie for the amazing game you have created. While it has had many twists and turns and evil cryptarchs, we are the ones who stood against the darkness when no one else would. Help us give year one a final send off.
