Trials of Osiris try hards
How is it that we get matched up with these trials mercenaries I mean seriously!!!
We should not have to fear being matched up with people that have gone to the lighthouse numerous of times when some of us are still getting off feet wet in trials.
What's really going on?

29 RepliesThat's the whole point of trials! It's to pick out the best. Kids like you are the reason why bungie feels the need to nerf things and make things easier. If you haven't been flawless by now you should just except your bad. They aren't try hards....you just can't kill them.

I really wish we had a bracket system, if I'm playing with my usual squad we normally stomp our opponents like this week, I don't think the guys we were matched up with got more than two points on us in any game, up until I met these cheaters and they knocked me off live but my team still win, I play trials to revel in the competition but if it's like this there's no competition, they should have different class standings with different names(If you catch my drift) and I can guarantee you it would be come so much more competitive trying to get to the very top

4 RepliesThis sweaty tryhard right here managed to get his first scrubby flawless trip to the lighthouse yesterday with a clan made team. We held our ground, defended the flank, communicated each game out to make sure we were positioned for even gunfights or advantage gunfights (1v1/2v2/3v2/2v1). As you can tell from my stats I don't fit the bill for a lfg team because my k/d and non flawless emblem prior to yesterday so on paper I'm a scrub. The keys to success are communication, understanding the map well enough to position gunfights from multiple angles as you rush or defend, and timing supers to gain the advantage. Situational awareness and communication ultimately are the 2 things that make the team strong. There is a flawless card at stake during every game so yes everyone is going to "tryhard" or they are going to have a failed card. Good luck guardians and don't give up!

3 RepliesI played trials everyday the first 2 weeks it was out. I tried with buddies, LFG, tower randoms you name it. I played againts lag switchers, ddos attacks, MLG players you name it. I got rekt over and over and over again and had a k/d of .78. The difference between me and you is I didn't give up, and especially didn't want a handout. I learned from my mistakes and have since gone flawless 40+ times, I pushed my kd to 1.04 from the hole it was before and am in the top 1% of trials players now. You my friend gave up and didn't learn from defeat, and that is why you fail.

3 RepliesAnother salty kid who can't get to the lighthouse and calls everyone bad and try hards who have been there. It's a competitive game type in case you didn't realize. It works better to ask for help than trying to insult everyone. Trials is meant to be challenging cry about it

6 RepliesPerfect example was today myself and some guys I was with were 8-0 ( technically 8-1 since we already used our mercy ) but anyway we are trying to bring one of our guys flawless for the first time and let me first say I'm not the best PvP player but I can hold my own in all aspects of the game and the same can go for the other two guys I was with. But back to my story, we are 8-0 and we're riding high after a very clutch 5-4 win in our last match where my friend that hasn't gone flawless came through with a triple down fist of havoc for the win. So we go into our last match and we check out the other team and on paper they look pretty good but we thought we could handle them and we were sadly mistaken. They literally mopped the floor with us... 5-1. Heart breaking lose. I really do believe there should be some kind of system in place to match you up better with teams more your caliber.. I've gone flawless twice and it's the most rewarding feeling I've had in this game! And I really want everyone to experience that! And not getting murdered by guys that's go flawless just for the hell of it!

2 RepliesThe matchmaking system has nothing to do with skill level, which is bs. I get 1 night, about 7 hours to try for flawless each week, sometimes more, sometimes less depending on work. Each week, it's the same thing, 3-4 wins (5-6 after boons), then comes a losing streak that last 2 passages. Each game usually has the worst lag, followed by the most bs shots. Today, I got 1 shot by a rocket while bladedancing heavy, next game, I shot 2 rockets at a bladedancer, which hit head on, and he still kills me, with nearly full life. Plus warlock with no Voidfang vests, or 2 grenade perk, throwing 2-3 grenades, one after another (yes, there was only 1 sunsinger in the game, yes I checked his gear and perks, no, he did not have double grenades, he had light beyond nemesis).
