9 hours. If you check my profile, you may see that Skolas is my only triumph left. Well I decided to tackle him today, my hunter being the only level 34. I managed to jump in with two friends during round 2. We made it to round 3 and then spent about 2 hours on it until both my partners had to go. So i found more 2 people, via destinylfg, who were pretty decent, both warlocks. We finally made it to Skolas about an hour and a half later. A few runs in, one of them leave and a Titan joins, named *redacted*. We fought Skolas for 5 and a half hours. Finally, i resolved to give up leadership of the fireteam in order to get more Heavy Ammo Synths. As soon as i left, *redacted* closed the fireteam and unfriended me. 9 hours of my life wasted to get screwed over by a terrible player. This dude kept getting stomped by Skolas and using Weapons wards before we were attacking Skolas. Oh yeah, did i mention lightswitch? For 5 and a half hours. So there goes my last triumph and i guess my hopes of becoming legend. Never Again.

the last time i played skolas was during arc burn week , after 5 hours trying i got disconnected (was party leader) , but as soon as i logged back in they already filled my spot , never again did i bother with that crap , games should be fun and POE is the exact opposite of fun

Don't worry about Skolas. I have never attempted. If an activity takes more than a few hours without checkpoints or saves I bail. I have a family and a life. I play the raids because at least you have checkpoints. Poe at the higher levels is an epic Bungie fail. Watch, I bet they are still too lazy to put them in even after TTK drops. The only scrubs on this forum are the employees at destiny for making such unbalanced and non user- friendly game modes. I know all the neck beards and fanboys want the game to be at impossible limits. But most of us just want to play and have fun. I wish Bungie would have spent more time on content than coming up with shitty emblems that I don't have space for anyway.

scrub

Your first mistake was even attempting it without three level 34s. It's annoying and not worth the effort but it's pretty sad to not even be able to do it once...

Skolas is super easy

Takes me 30 mins with a buddy... Look for good players not crappy ones

3 RepliesI got to skolas today and my friend went to change characters. We were booted to orbit for inactivity while we waited for him
-
2 RepliesI spent 10 hours on it with my friends during the second week, when the modifier was arc burn. Worst thing I've ever done. We didn't even beat him.
-
With a good team the entire thing should take hour. Last time I did it skolas took 13 minutes

Douchebag

3 RepliesTook me just over two and a half hours earlier this week taking two people through who had never done it before. It would have been completed quicker but there was a little reluctance to burn skolas before/during the second set of mines and we screwed it up first time.

Dude... Skolas aint hard at all.

If you're on ps4 I can help you

If you were on XB1, we would have got you through Skolas in a very short time. I have a few friends on PS4 I will ask them to get you through, if you aren't totally frustrated. Let me know.

2 RepliesIf it took you that long to just get to Skolas then you don't deserve to beat him.

Edited by Raggamuffin: 8/23/2015 11:28:48 PMIt's all about having good team work, my last level 35 poe completion took a total of 52 minutes and that also included one full wipe at skolas himself.

1 ReplyYou really shouldn't be doing it with randoms if it's your first time. You and your friends just need to find a set time to do it. Also, if the rounds before Skolas take longer than an hour and a half, you aren't ready. But I'd say the main problem was that your friends weren't 34 in a 35 activity.
