If this is how you react to a major Expansion...
I can't imagine you guys will react when Destiny 2 comes out. You all realize that none of Destiny's gear will be transferred into Destiny 2, right? Your Achievements, face, and maybe your stats (as in your K/D will be combination of both games, for example) will carry over, but that's it. We might even have all new subclasses, and we're all gonna be level 0 when we begin our second great adventure.
*Edit: I don't think I've ever had 50 notifications before. Wow. Also, given what I've seen, anyone who responds to me saying that "everything is wrong with this post" should be the smart ones. In fact, I don't think anyone should agree with this. I don't want to agree with this, but after more than a year of being with this community, I have no idea what to expect. Which is why I said "I [b]can't[/b] imagine the reaction...".

Why would any one care that's how a new game works. Ttk isn't destiny 2 this is dlc that should only add to the game not take stuff away.

Compared to adding to the EXISTING disc that we're already on. I don't think too many intelligent people will have an issue losing their content when a brand new disc comes out. But being told to pay $40 for the content on your EXISTING disc to become obsolete is the issue.

1 ReplyYou do know you're wrong right? I mean you're smart enough to know there is no Destiny 2? Destiny is an ever expanding evolving game like an MMO. This is not like CoD where a new game comes out every 2 months. Or like Battlefield where new one comes out every 3 years. Destiny 2 is TTK.

I had a friend who helped run the Bungie/destiny sighraph panel in which they privately disclosed the methodology behind their engine, which allows for graphical tweaking and dynamics over top pre-existing rigs and placeholders. The game is super modular with well managed array sets of variables to change. Looking at the development of currently played gaming technology it absolutely would not surprise me if destiny two could log our same inventory and the story of a past guardian. Please keep making moronic posts about what would have pulled out of your ass most recently

Taken king is an expansion to Destiny. I did expect to be able to use everything I earned in this game [b]in this game[/b]. I don't expect things to carry over to Destiny 2.
