I want some honest discussion here. Personally, it's the scam this game was when it came out and now I'm hesitant to believe in TTK. I honestly think it looks incredible, but that's how I felt leading up to release and was completely underwhelmed.
So why are others hesitating to invest?
Edit: glad there's actually some civil people in this community. Personal reasons I haven't and that I agree with waiting or not preordering it are:
1. Fallout 4 and other fall releases.
2. You screwed me with the CE now earn my money back.
3. Sick or grinding AND WORSE re-grinding.
Sooooooo those new exotics huh... look pretty bad to me!

Because pre-ordering is for suckers.

I am broke

1 ReplyEdited by HeartStrong07: 8/26/2015 4:08:10 PMMy reasons: 1.Rainbow Six Seige Beta, Black Ops 3, Fallout 4, Star Wars Battlefront all seem to provide more content for the investment of time and money 2. Disappointed I can't infuse my favorite prior legendaries and gear 3. Not impressed with new weapons and gear, yet 4. HoW, especially PoE was a BIG disappointment 5. Can't pre-order digital download on xbox 360
-
Because apparently 360 owners can't purchase the digital download until the 15th. Which is a load crap. I guess they are stilling trying to see how many sheep will buy three items they own to get the DLC. SMH!
-
1. Because of the last dlc...... Poe and shank burn :l 2. They havent really fixed any of the big pvp problems yet.
-
1 ReplyBecause Bungie continue to ignore the issue where Friends dissappear on my Roster... Think I'll send another post just to prove they won't or can't fix the problem.
-
I honestly want to pre-order, it's convincing the other half to want to though...
-
I don't pre-order anymore, kinda disappointed with the last one, so I will just wait for the review before I buy it.
-
Because I'm poor
-
Because I can't preorder on 350 without the Collectors edition.
-
So I still get an allowance and my mom wants me to be up to date on my money situation. In other words I'm really lazy.
-
Trying to save up but parents keep taking my money, had to give my sister some for kennywood. But luckily my birthday is coming up soon so I'll hopefully be getting enough money
-
I'm going to in all honesty, just havnt gotten around to it LoL but in the back of my head I'm still a little skeptical abt it. I want to see how it is & how much is going to change. I know guns are under going an overhaul but Exotic's, mainly Armor I'm curious as to if they'll be upgradeable. Planning on getting the Digital DownLoad for the items ect. Have TDB&HoW Pass n had Destiny since 0ct/Nov..Anyone know if that's the best bet, it's 40$ too
-
Over priced not enough content
-
also, I buy digital copies, so it won't be sold out
-
Here's what is going to happen with TTK (or season 2) All these amazing strikes and raids? Yeah, DLC. Just like this time. TTK is the vanilla, everything else is going to work the exact same way as last year. Lack of content, that can be bought as the year progresses

Waiting for reviews.
-
I don't preorder anything BC of games that chop into dlcs after preorder quota is met
-
Keep forgetting to
-
Because i dont preorder unless i know the game will be epic. Gta, batman, anything by naughty dog are the only ones i pre order. Bungie are masters at making new content look like its a lot. They did it with tdb, it was universally meh. They did it with house of wolves and everyone like stopped playing after a week. Do i wish destiny wasnt so damn boring, yes. But im gonna wait before i plop down 40 bucks in case theres only 3 hours of content then its repeated. Especially when games cost 80+, i gotta choose wisely. Im already waiting for super mario maker and uncharted collection and halo 5.
-
Because I'm not worried the digital content will be sold out.
-
Waiting to see if it's wurf. Plus I don't wanna feed Activision money too soon.
-
I simply don't trust preorders anymore and the "perks" that preorders bonuses give aren't worth anything if the game itself doesn't hold well. I'm holding out on TTK for now, just a couple days to see reviews and such and then I'll buy.

Waiting for the reviews
-
I'm just waiting. I like the changes, but I'm waiting to see reviews from actual players. If the content is delivered, my gaming dollars will go to Bungie, in September. I have a hard drive full of hyped up games, that I never play. I'm learning, slowly not to watch trailers too much or read reviews from major gaming media. Ill have to see player reviews, or dust off my headset and talk to people, again before I invest.
