So not only are we not keeping our legendaries. We are also giving up some exotics. No more ghally. So why the -blam!- nerf it??? Now let me explain why that is a bad idea. When Bungie "adds" content they get rid of the old. Perks and all. So that perfect roll you got for your felwinters, or gheleons, kiss it goodbye. They are not only getting rid of legendaries but also getting rid of perks and perk trees. No more full auto pulses, no more rangefinder&Third eye handcannons, no more final round snipers, no more perfect balance/hammer forged/field scout. Everything that makes a weapon good in our eyes is getting thrown away for new "better" weapons. Yet they don't realize that what made the weapons good was the -blam!-ing perks! Now for exotics. No more ghally. All I got from that was "we can't provide a well designed boss for you so we will take away your highest dps exotic instead and call it a day". I'm assuming all other exotics missing blueprints are in the same boat. (Ice breaker, Universal remote, Super good advice???) Now let me explain why this is bad. Nerfing a weapon that does dps (or leaving it behind) won't change the boss battle at all. Only lengthen the encounter. It won't make the boss more challenging. They will still be bullet sponges whether gally is there or not. Weapon nerfs won't fix bad game design. Simple as that. If the other exotics mentioned above are left behind as well then that will just show players how lazy they are. That they chose to leave guns behind instead of giving us tougher, more rewarding bosses. We will still go to that same spot to kill the boss. He will still do the same routine. Nothing will change difficulty wise. I said it before and will say it again leaving weapons behind is a horrible idea. With so many unique weapons and perks there will be no upgrade/replacement for our guns. Keeping our old gear will not prevent us from seeking out new gear, or completing the new end-game content. It is a lazy effort to rebalance this game. [b]Don't cap out my old gear to then tell me the new gear is better. Because if we are truly getting gear that is worth it it would not matter if I kept my old gear.[/b] I played this game to [b]Become Legend[/b]. Legends usually carry weapons/gear/mementos/relics from past battles and experiences that have grown with them. To them. (gear and weapons) Taking my gear and weapons away is taking my legend away. Ultimately taking away my reason to play. Rant over. Im all burnt out Bungie. Won't be continuing anymore. [spoiler]For all you people that say good riddance.
