Why wouldn't you put infuse on year 1 gear??... What I propose: Level all the year 1 gear to 160 A/D or whatever but put the infuse option on it. Keep in mind one legendary moved the Attack on Deej's gun like 8 points... getting to 280 alone is not going to be an easy task and will take a ton of legendary gear. Sticking with a 280 newby gun is going to be much more alluring... For all the sheeple: Yes, people will still seek out and use the new gear even if they have an option to use the old gear... No, I am not saying the new stuff should continue to be the top tier stats on Sept 15, I do think we should be able to get it there though if we want to.
