Did you see??? Don't dismantle your weapons yet.
On the weekly update the pro tip was don't dismantle your weapons just yet. Any thoughts.

2 RepliesIn regards to some reactions to what people are posting: I love topics like this. I love how some individuals like bashing the other 90% while saying that Bungie owes us nothing and to stop being entitled. Firstly, by everything I've read, most keyboard warriors here have absolutely zero idea of what entitled means. It's a game. Secondly, Bungie owes the players... pretty much everything. Without us, this boat sinks. No, I'm not saying that I want everything handed to me. That's always a great retort. To all that are perfectly happy taking exactly what Bungie (or any other game developer) gives you without question, to any who say that anyone who asks for more is entitled, and to anyone saying that people who voice complaints shouldn't play the game... looking through those monochromatic lenses at the gaming world has to be boring. Try color. Oh! My response to the topic. Yes. I'm holding on to my weapons until I know more. I got my platinum and was almost ready to quit, but realized that I shouldn't be hasty, and perhaps a more tempered approach is better than one of passion. After all, haste makes waste.

14 RepliesYou will be able to sacrifice your year 1 guns for xp towards year 2 guns that is why they said not to dismantle they will still not be able to be ascended.

15 RepliesIt would be cool if In the Taken King, you can take guns to the Gunsmith and he can essentially learn perks from the guns. So say you give him a Fate bringer and he learns how to put Firefly on Handcannons. Now you pay him some sort of fee and you can customize your weapons completely.

3 RepliesIt doesn't mean old legendarys will ascend It means the upgrade nodes on TTK weapons require sacrificing an old weapon to unlock Bungie Wants those old guns destroyed, they don't fit their new weapon balance (nerf) scheme

Their just trying to get some shred of hope into the people to not hate them and hopefully buy ttk. If they come out and say: yep all weapons will be crap now they know theyre gonna lose a lot of ttk buyers

1 ReplyThe main image was a screen of the vault. It had better be vault expansion, or some form of allowing us to hold more gear. That kind of teasing is terrible.

They already said the weapons wont max out, and that you will find stronger weapons right off the bat. I dont see them changing their minds right off the bat.
