Im not talkin about raid gear either. Im talking about basic gear and faction weapons and stuff. No one will ever be able to get another Shadow Price, or another Vanquisher, but because they cant get it, Bungie says Im not allowed to use it? Im not going anywhere, but I have right to complain about that bullshit. I actually grinded alot to get what I have. Im looking forward to replacing guns in my loadout with New TTK ones, but I was hoping to take one of the few good Autos with me. (My Vanquishers kinda grown on me.)

I'm not gone, just taking a break. Destiny gets repetitive and we need to go play other games sometimes. I'll come back when the expansion releases.

2 RepliesIt's not even about the weapons it's about Bungie and how they screw up buffs and nerfs some are good like the black hammer but the auto rifle Nerf was too much. Also most are just done with the massive money grab that is destiny. good riddance sheep. ~[i]TheGreatJanoski[/i]

1 ReplyYou can go back and obtain all that we had from the get go.. Most everyone had to go back and redo the vault because I, like most, deleted vault gear because we thought it would be obsolete

How did it screw over new players? It is very easy to get to lvl 32 with vendor items and then you can run poe 28 for guaranteed exotic. Do this on 3 characters and you have 3 365 weapons(not sure if first run always gives a weapon for the exotic but it did for me). Do one IB on 3 characters and you have enough etheric to get 2 of them up to 34 if you buy an exotic for each from xur. I just started playing in April myself and never considered myself at a disadvantage. I should still have to go through the grind if I want to play the endgame stuff. Said grind is alot easier now. Don't get me wrong, I think quitting over weapons not accending is stupid. I come from a mmoRPG background where this is the norm. Part of the draw to me is getting new stuff. But everyone's entitled to there opinion and to do with thier money as they wish. Ain't living in America, and to a lesser extent other free nations, great!

I know Bungie told us not to dismantle Year One gear (Weapons only for now.) yet but I decided to start anew in dismantling most but only keeping just a few Year One guns. Of course the exotics I'm keepin' haha.

6 RepliesYou have no idea the grind that was before TDB, purple engrams turning into blue gear, farming for materials to upgrade you weapons and armor, grinding VoG every week to get a [i]chance[/i] at armor/weapons. You started playing when they decided to start handing everything out like nothing, Crota was laughable and took no time at all to get full raid armor, and HoW made it even more of a joke to get max level, you literally walked up to a vendor, or took any piece of legendary gear, then got etheric light from one of multiple ways and ascended it. So you have it backwards, each dlc made it easier for new players, not easier for vets, honestly it made it more boring for vets if anything because we were done really quickly because of how much easier they made things.

However what you noobs don't realise is us vets were beating atheon hm as lvl 29 or 28s weekly. We didn't need to be 4 levels higher than it to complete we used skill rather than crying to bungie that it's too hard..... enjoy being stuck on oryx while us vets enjoy the rewards

day 1, not going anywhere. excited to see the new guns that will be replacing my old tech. will always keep fatebringer, VoC, and Praedyth's Revenge (sp?) due to their awesomeness. might keep black hammer but that would be it from DB.

If you have never done a raid and want to, feel free to message me. You're missing out on the 100% best experiences in this game (and some of the best iv ever had in 20+ years of gaming). I'm on Xbox One and I'll gladly help anyone under three conditions: 1. They will listen & follow orders to the best of their abilities. 2. They take this seriously and aren't acting like an idiot (pushing ppl off ledges, killing teammates w their sparrow, etc). 3. They ask questions about what they don't understand. (There is nothing worse than wasting time wiping because you were unclear about what your role is. Take the 30 seconds to ask/be answered rather than waste a run. Put your pride aside and listen to those who know what they're talking about.) I come across as stern, but iv had [i]many[/i] people thank me for teaching them how to not be helpless in raids. Always remember, I'm not trying to be mean, I'm just a very passionate leader when it comes to this game and my overall Alpha male attitude comes shining through from time to time. It's nothing personal if I get frustrated, but I won't bail on you until you're positive you can go into your next raid with confidence. Believe it or not, there are actually people who care about the state of the community. Edit: For some reason I haven't been receiving notifications for forum responses since I signed up for the newsletter last month. It's really aggravating, & unfortunately the only way I'll know if someone is interested or not is via a PM.

Dude that's stupid, I understand that a lot of us vets complain a lot but it's for good reason. I mean you spend countless hours and hours to grind for these weapons and finally get them and use them intimately that it like attaches dude. I don't think anyone got screwed over in any of the expansions, I just think the new guys that think they got screwed were just too impatient to grind like the rest of us had to and just wanted to jump the gun with top armor and top guns with no experience. To understand how these guys feel about the guns as well as my self, you've got to know the forever 29 feeling, the countless grinding for foil, and spend the amount of time we had with our guns as long as we did to feel a little hurt about your favorite go to memory making alien -blam!-ing gun being obsolete

4 RepliesAre you retarded. You said house of wolves screwed new players. All the new players made level 34 insanely quick. They can run easy vog with only blue gear. I see so many 34 with 2300 grimoire who are total trash. Learn about what you saying before you say it kid
