Most destiny kiddies are jumping ship because you can't upgrade year one gear....Well good riddance to all the stuck up year ones!! I've been with destiny since the dark below and I've figured out enough to see why destiny is doing this. Basically in house of wolves you could 365 gear making it easy for the vets but screwing over new players. Why should bungie add something to ttk that would make life easy to first years and screw over second years? Also leave comments down below
fix'd

As a semi vet ( I started playing a week and a bit after release) I am embracing the fact that my PVE legendaries aren't going to be effective in some circumstances but I'm still going to use Fate Bringer whenever I can. In PVP, though, my loadouts are set. I understand people leaving but Bungie haven't said what's happening with them fully, so I think it's a silly thing to announce to everyone.

I played from week two on the PS3 them on my birthday at the end of May I upgraded systems to the Xbox one. It wasn't hard to get back to a competitive level of gear. Crying that "destiny favours the older players" is bullshit the only "older players" that have gotten anything that no other guardian has had a chance at was when the Gjallahorn was sold by Xur week two and hasn't been sold since. So yeah the original players may have had acces to that one weapon that you don't have but guess what? Your lack of toys is your own lack of time invested.

year one play here and I still play, most year ones play still on my friends list
-
Year one player right here and i aint quittin on destiny yet i like it
-
I'll still be here. If you're fetch hmu

Beta player here. I'm not going anywhere. I am so ready for the Taken King it's not even funny. Besides there are only really one or two legendaries I am really attached to. They will stay in my vault as keepsakes forever.
-
How did that make it easy for year ones or anyone who had been playing before how dropped? We had to get etheric light just like anyone else playing if we wanted 365 gear. Also, there's no confirmation that year one gear will be useless

I'm a day 1 beta vet on my other account, with 3-34s and I'm not going anywhere. Noboby gonna run me off. In fact, I got bored waiting for TTK so I am currently leveling 3 more classes on this account. Bungie's changes may have pissed some folks off, but I'm not one of them. There's going to be so many changes over 10yrs it's not funny. If you can't roll with it, then it's time to move on.

Yay more hyperbole....
-
Price ranges in TTK are a joke just saying...

We have all the exotics and experience. Hardly a disadvantage being a year 1 player. With new subclasses and the knowhow to put them to use Vets can help newer players overcome older content. Just pick up a gun and shoot the horned things. Stop trying to turn guardians on each other.

Day one player here! Not elitist, not a "gjallarhorn required" ass and very excited about the changes and new direction. We're not all bad bro

1 Replyim sure some time in the future we'll be able to ascend year 1 gear.

Edited by AJIc3CoLd: 8/12/2015 5:09:02 PMHorse poo. Destiny vets are the only ones who've used raid weapons for about a year now, we've had our fill. Take em, take em all.
-
2 RepliesThat makes no sense. What raid guns were ridiculously op in crucible? The best og vendor guns were ar's except tdyk. How exactly were people at a disadvantage because they started playing later?
-
Yep we are basically starting over Can't wait!!!
-
How did ascending gear screw over new players? I'm not being a pain in the ass, I'm being serious. 99% of the weapons people wanted to ascend were VoG or Crota weapons. Fatebringer, Vision, and Black Hammer were the three big ones. Hell, I ran through the Vault with a full fireteam of HoW newbs last week. Two of them got Fatebringer, one got VoC, and one got a Vex.

Muted. Idiot

4 RepliesMost vets are actually staying

No they're not lol

Um... I'm not going anywhere. Besides the forums are hyperbolic (kind of like this post) you can hardly get a accurate reading on the current player base by reading the forums.
