What is the best thing about hunters
I've been collecting hunter gear don't know if I should make the switch

I was strictly hunter and Titan until I saw the arc move in TTK for a warlock now I'm working on a warlock too. I want to be versatile. Plus, I mean how could you not want the void bow and arrow you literally freeze all opponents in place while they watch you decimate them.

Triple jump, invis, solo crota, swordbearer, quadruple jump, incredible pvp capabilities. 1 shot god mode in crucible, cool cloaks, makeshift scard, 2 new subclasses you've never used, cool cloaks to show off, look cool.

First thing! If you delete one of your characters now, you will lose some of your triumph completions, if that matters to you. Well I had only a Titan and two Warlocks until a month and a half ago. I got my Hunter to 34 in 13 hours and I consider it my main now. Not any discredit to either of the other classes, but it is awesome being a Hunter. You won't regret it.

Hunter has always been the easiest for me to solo any activity. Golden gun is good for pvp and gunslinger is great in pve because chain of woe and gunslingers trance make landing criticals and staying on target effortless meaning higher dps. Goldengunners make the best of precision weapons, snipers, hand cannons, and scout rifles. Blade dancers are also very effective in pvp with their blink ability, one hit melee to the back and chaining arc bolt grenade. In pve it's all about the invisibility perks. You can escape any tough situation when you get in over your head and find a better vantage to recover and assault from an advantageous position. I suggest using the super as a tactical evasive maneuver seeing as it's only good for killing weak ads. However with razors edge you can send a wave of arc energy through a spawn door or shield to kill enemy's before you even have the chance to shoot them. The shields in Crota being a good example or a Titan bubble shield in crucible. All and all hunters are pretty good at everything and each subclass has its uses.

17 RepliesThey suck at PvE but they're amazing at PvP. Invisibility is good for mines and lamps but that's about it for PvE. PvP on the other hand, golden gun dominates

I like my hunter almost as much as the Warlock. He can go invisible and the gunslinger is the only character with built in gun enhancement perks.

So that you can have another third of the content that prop complain about the game lacking. Do it for a new perspective and new experiences. Do it for fun. Do it to enhance your skill and diversity and ability to adapt.

1 ReplyIf you only use sunsinger Warlocks, don't make a Hunter. Opposite ends of the spectrum in playstyle, Hunters stay alive no matter what through evasiveness, Sunsingers are like meh, I got my super, I can die.
