We are about to kill the hive god. What's after that and how can this last 10 years? Not hating, just curious.

In year 3 we supposed to help Osiris and fight the Ahamkara

6 RepliesOh look, the Vex have another big robot. Oh look, the Cabal are still pricks and have launched an invasion on Earth. Oh look, the Fallen found out about the Queen's setup during the war and have united for revenge. Oh look, turns out Mercury is actually a giant Vex robot and is about to go Unicron on Earth. Oh look, we found more "Darkness" in the deepest reaches of space and a new race of aliens to fight. Oh look, Variks is using the time travel tech from the Vex vault and is turning traitor to raise up the house of judgement. Tons of reasons they could come up with. They have the foundation, they just need to do something with it.

2 years of hive 2 years of vex 2 years of fallen 2 years of cabal 2 years of all four
-
We find out the traveler is luke smith and he has succeeded in making us throw our money at him for 10 years
-
Enemies will come and go, just like all franchises.
-
2 RepliesNext is the Vex DLC, which we supposedly fight the creator of Atheon. After that is Cabal DLC.
-
DLCs in vex/cabal maybe, and possibly new alien races
-
They'll switch focus to a different race for a year. I got a feeling the hive will be backing off for a bit after we bend Oryx over the table.
-
DLCS that cost $60+

Easy, Fanboys who keep feeding into the BS. Yea I played the crap out this game until I stepped back and re evaluate the gane. As for TTK, I'm going to wait 2 weeks to see how things go. Learning from the last dlcs.
-
They make more games
-
1 ReplyThe enemies aren't the problem. The main issue is that the content has been so stretched and there is so much down time in between dlc that it just gets stale. There are a lot of good games coming out soon too...
-
Fanboys buying into the poop spewed out by Bungie
-
1 ReplyDLC scissors
-
it wont at this rate
-
Well in the Luke Smith interview it sounded like the traveler was evil. Maybe we will have to fight against the light? ~TehMindBlaster
-
I gave it 2 years. My friend gave it 3 and a half. But my 2 years are as long as they continue charging for DLC and being greedy -blam!-s.
-
will become offline game, only patrol and solo trikes, due to lack of guardians for multiplayer. right now, is a $140 (due to dlcs), will be a $540 in 10 years at $40 yearly dlc.
-
Hopefully we get some new enemies and not old ones redone over and over... Taken enemies are like zombies of the enemies now lol

Edited by FPSTrollestia: 8/12/2015 4:22:47 PMMaybe we'll find out what is the true darkness. Probably bread crumbs from the stranger. Plot twist
we finally wake up from the coma we were in at the end of the 10 years, the stranger is really a nurse who's been reading us bedtime stories because we were a 10 year old kid who loved space and sci-fi. Original idea do not steal
Three letters, DLC..... :(

Time machine

Destiny will not last another year. Haven't you people realize that many players have fleet to other games already.
-
Every year, revamp the whole game so you can feel like your playing a new game for 6 months. At least until a dlc comes out.

1 ReplyDude we haven't even touched the Cabal or Vex hierarchy, and really haven't done much with the Fallen either. Remember we're just trying to take back the Sol system, there's always the chance we could eventually take on these aliens outside of our system, in their own home systems for example. Plus if you read Crota's grimoire card, they aren't even sure he and Oryx are the epitome of the Hives power. They may simply be the weakest of their higher race.
