The Crucible is one of the WORST and unskilled pvp games out there.
I'm gonna keep this simple and to point:
*Unbalanced weapons, ie some more powerful than others
*Unbalanced exotics, ie some more powerful than others
*Unbalanced perks for armor and weapons
*Multiplayer-only
*No custom/private matches
*Forced to play specific gametypes each week
*Skill/performance gap between light levels
*A huge amount of unskilled players and their crutches
*Gear>Skill
Iron Banner:
*Gear>>Skill
*Lag fest
*Cheaters too
Trials:
*Gear>_Skill
*Lag fest
*Cheater fest
*Not fun after a while; really competitive
Overall, Destiny is perhaps Bungie's worst pvp game. To play it would be forcing pleasure unto yourself.

1 ReplyMost FPS games have that 1 or 2 weapon set that majority use. Lag hasn't been a problem for me. Cheaters goin' cheat. I still enjoy SOME crucible modes. Primarily control. But yes I can see the lack of options and other things being not a great PvP effort even though it seems Bungie made a ton of rewards geared towards PvP mode. Coming from a casual PvP player. I only play once or twice a week due to family and kids.

Agreed it is all about who has possession of a shotgun,thorn or TLW will win or get good kills unless you're just bad and still cant kill with it. Personally the people that use thorn in crucible are kids that want their KD to be better or to get it out the negative zone. In Osiris I understand because you have to make it a fair game because you want good loot but crucible... there is no reason

3 RepliesYou forgot the biggest problem: All the maps are basically the same size so no significant variety in load out or play style is required from map to map - root cause for certain load outs becoming popular and perceived as OP because "everyone is using it", leads to nerfing (and breaking stuff in PVE) name a map where a shotty and hand cannon are a BAD load out - sure there may be better choices but it works on all maps since none of them really even challenge the range of a scout rifle and all of them (thanks to limited game types) force CQC

2 RepliesTrials is an intense and enjoyable game mode. However, by now it's worn off a bit. Keeping the trials reward style, but mixing up the game modes, would be really fun. 6v6? Randomly have it be salvage/skirmish style matches?

there will always be lag and cheaters on what ever you go on gear>skill = not true its also unbalanced because its a new game , its trial and error to find out the perfect combination the rest is just your option i don't care how high your k/d is, nobody likes a complainer
