Hello, I'm from Auckland, New Zealand! (That little country East of Australia) It's just started snowing here in auckland in the northern island! New Zealand is made up of 2 large islands the North and South Island! In the south snow is normal! But in the North it snows once, twice maybe thrice a decade! This is the first time in my life I have seen snow!

In the UK, I'd like to say we're well equipped for snow considering it snows practically every year to on average 3-5 inches. I'd like to say schools run normally and work gets done and we all have grips for our wheels. Like to... It's a fúcking joke! Seriously! Every year schools shut down, public transport goes on the frizz, people forget how to drive, the elderly die because their ambulances get rear ended by some tw@ driving as close as he would in normal conditions, we never have grit out on time, we never have enough grit, airports shut and flights are cancelled. And I think to myself, "Fúck me, if we all swapped places with Russia we'd all be thoroughly fúcked, we can't handle 3 inches never mind 3 feet!"

2 RepliesI wish it was snowing here, I hate summer

1 ReplyDid you try the yellow snow? I recommend it.
-
Floridians like me don't understand snow. What is that damn thing?
-
Here in northern Minnesota in the US, we get snow every year, and typically in feet, so it's lost its lustre for me. What I would like to try is pressing the OnStar button on a car from the middle of the lake, and hope the person I get is from the southern US.

When it starts snowing here in September (Alberta, Canada), I will start this same thread.
-
You should take pictures and upload them so we can see them.

9 RepliesIn the USA, I live where I get 6 feet of snow -maybe more- every winter and we still have school and work. Then down south in states like Georgia they occasionally get like 2 inches of snow and everyone abandons their cars and school is canceled. I laugh so hard at that.

2 RepliesHahah!! Congrats to you!!! I often think of things that would blow my mind in life. And I always thought never seeing or having felt snow and then being an adult to do that.. Would be amazing. There's little time. But you must - write your name in snow with your urine. - DO NOT eat the yellow snow after, it is NOT lemon - make a snow fort - go sledding - make a snow man - kill said snowman with a katana if available lol - have a snow ball fight - build an igloo - make a big snow mound and climb something and jump in it - wait till night and go for a stroll, I love doing this during snow storms Common people hook this lucky guy or gal up with some amazing ideas for this one in their lifetime event!! Seriously, that is cool and everyone deserves to see snow. Have a lot of fun! In hope ya do guardian.
