To all you "Year Oners"...
Being a year oner is nothing compared to being a day oner. You can be a year oner without even have experienced pushing Atheon/Templar off, without farming the loot cave, and without Rahool turn a legendary engram into a blue.
Tl;Dr Yeah, cool, you played Destiny with a YEAR of its release, but being a day oner means much, much more.

To be a day oner in any game only requires you buy the game on the day of release wow what an achievement really took some work. PS I started in Alpha also.

4 RepliesSo you couldn't beat a raid so you had to use a glitch to win, sat in front of a cave because you were too lazy to go get gear any other way, and got ripped off by the cryptarch on the items you got from shooting into a cave.... So that's a day one player huh? Cool kid club isn't so cool. Can honestly say I'm glad I waited until it was half off for gold members LMAO.

I didn't know about Destiny until November. Bought a PS3 and then a PS4 (Swag Chatterwhite edition) for it. I've never played a FPS out online game before. I wish I had the honor of being a launch day guardian.

I've ask earned flawless raider on VoG

I'm not a day one player. And I hate when people use the term day one. Because I've pit more time and effort into the game than a lot of day oners

I brought the game the last week of the first Queens Wrath, I've experienced everything you just mentioned without actually playing on release day. It's never about where you start but how you finish.
