EDIT 1.) What if bungie allowed us to bring at least one weapon of any sort and upgrade it?
it should be like an Etheric light or something and you can upgrade it into year 2s maximum damage

Ok we get it, you say out with hold on with the new.... Answer this: what about brand new players, or players that gave up on Destiny before either previous DLC but happen to want to give it another try, what motivation will they have to do any of the current endgame activities? Besides that, it's not like TTK has 3-4 new end game activities to effectively replace what we've got instead of adding to it.

1. You can still use year 1 weapons after ttk launch (level advantages are off) 2. Everyone asked for something new now we got it 3. We keep our exotics at least 4. Who wants the keep using the same guns year after year? Its time to move on

3 RepliesI don't care about regular guns getting diminished, it will be fun to get new weapons BUT WHAT ABOUT RAID WEAPONS?!?!?!? I grinded and grinded and still haven't received VoC, BH, and a couple others and I don't want found verdict, fatebringer, and word of crota to go away. I love those weapons and if they are diminished NO ONE WILL PLAY THE OLD RAIDS. They will be pointless

Totally cool with Bungies choice. Its time to move on. I didnt plan on using the same equipment 10 years straight. As long as they allow me to upgrade my exotics I'm cool with it.... just got a Ghorn for the first time yesterday

Make grinding for the classics worthwhile, even quest like, get classic weapons, collect ascension materials and then upgrade. Sounds like an easy way to keep old content relevant and add replay value at the same time.

The only question I have is that I heard from PlanetDestiny that this DLC will erase all upgrades you have on your armor... is that true?

11 RepliesNo they can't carry over any weapons. Then everyone would make 1 wep carry over from each character and then remake characters to carry over all their weapons. The idea of nothing carrying over is to get rid of all the unbalanced weapons
