Should Ram be nerfed?
Edit 1:I think the people saying no are giving a pretty good argument on why,same with the people saying yes but people who say no to nerf have some a slightly better argument imo.
Edit 2:I'm not asking for a nerf I made this post to see what the majority of people think of ram and to give reasons on why it should or shouldn't be nerfed.

It is an exotic helm made for the void walker sub class how ever it provides armor boost when put on a sunsinger as well it stacks with radiant skin, it should be nerfed so it works specificly with Void walker

I don't think the Ram should be nerfed but I think it's exotic perk should be changed so that it gives increased recovery. I say this because I think the classes don't matter as much as they could so I think there should be an exotic that gives Titans more armor and an exotic that gives hunters more speed. I would also be ok with exotics that increased the Stat that each class is worst at, titans = speed, hunters = armor, warlock = split between the two

I think it's funny how hard people complain about it but it literally only lets you survive like one assault rifle bullet more. It only bothers people because that just happens to be enough to ruin some of the most common strategies in pvp right now. Ex. Thorn 2 shot headshot.

First i actually have to get it lol. Over 70 engrams nada. PoE up the buttocks. Nightfalls etc. Nada:) Just one of those items. Meanwhile. 7+ titan helmets. Over 10 Celestial Hawkz etc. You know the drill with RNGesus.

I do think it should be tweaked slightly in Crucible. The helmet is fine is PVE, the problem in PVP is it gives you an unfair advantage. I use it myself and it is very easy to get kilsl and stay alive in any game mode with the helmet compared to not using it.

5 RepliesI would have said no two weeks ago but I recently found out that a warlock melee with the ram is a one hit kill to a bladedancer. We are talking a basic melee attack vs a super....apparently it's not that super. I don't think one melee should be able to kill a [u]super[/u] that easy.

Nerf a piece of armor seriously??? How about you make a warlock and get said piece of armor, they should nerf red crutch in crucible make it 3 kills to regen health not 1

1 ReplyIt's amazing how this community doesn't just learn how to counter things in the game. Everytime something seems to be somewhat better than what everything else is, people just scream nerf. Just like how some people thought Sunsinger should be banned in Trials. Considering it's one of the easiest supers to take down since it takes forever to stand up from self rez. You can snipe them through the self rez, or get close and shotgun + melee combo and they're dead. And if they have the Ram, Fist of Havoc or Nova Bomb them. It's not that hard. Even sniping them in the head takes their health down to 1 cm. Anybody who put down "yes the Ram needs a nerf" actually needs to learn how to play the game more ways than 1 depending on what you're going up against. It's not overpowered one bit. People on this game just see something that's better than them and they cry for a nerf. I don't even use Sunsinger because I know how easily it can be countered. Unless I'm playing rumble, I use voidwalker because it can take out a bubble, bladedancer, and sunsinger. Even in rumble I run with radiant skin because of how open self rez leaves you. I'm surprises that even though Trials of Osiris has been out for a few months, nobody knows how to deal with a helmet and a super that's not as good as everyone makes it out to be. Quit crying for a nerf and start learning how to counter things.

Yes it should be nerfed. One of the biggest reasons is because of the Crucible meta in 2.0, which will most likely be autos and pulses. Right now, The Ram isn't as bad as it could be because an extra Hand Cannon shot isn't too hard to pull off, but when you've gotta get a few more Auto Rifle shots off or and extra Pulse Rifle burst off purely because of the Ram, that's when you know it's OP. Anyone using the Ram in 2.0 will be an immediate advantage.

I think every class needs to be given an exotic like this to be far, I mean I'm a Titan and they and take more damage than me. So what's the point of me being a Titan.

6 RepliesI'm sure I've said it before but the only thing that pisses me off about the ram is that you can tank a flux grenade but not a fusion grenade. Just please be consistent about what you can tank with it
