In the crucible ive hit them with gunslinger and ive blade danced them but all they have to do is panic and use fist of havoc and they kill me easily and walk away like my super has no effect on them (This happens constantly). The lightning grenade is too strong, chains too far and stays active too long. Making it impossible to cap a zone in control with lightning grenades everywhere.. And lastly the shoulder charge seems to be a one hit melee kill, while the others take atleast 2 hits to take down an enemy.. The Titan needs to be buffed in PVE its just completley unfair to people that have a life and dont have time to level up all 3 characters. I started with a Hunter and thats what im stuck with.. Had I known Titans were unstoppable that would have been my first choice.. You are dead to me bungie.

3 RepliesI main a titan, but I recently started using a hunter in crucible. I'll have your know that it is 1000x easier using a hunter in crucible then a titan, they are just way more overpowerd. Titans are the most underpowered class in the game as the hunter can have up to 4 one shot projectiles and the Warlock can essentially "throw" a fist of havoc. The only thing titans are good for in PvP is countering bladedancer and self rez.

Last I checked EVERYONE USES hunters. No one uses titans. The most underrated character in the game.

Titans are easy to use in PvP but they aren't over powered you're just not a skilled titan killer. Hold a shotgun out when they run at you and you can kill them before they shoulder charge. Blink backwards and try and fall to the left or right to avoid shock wave when a titan smashes. You know you can shoot the lightning grenade to destroy it and um I think that's it.

You're are challenging the best CQB class in the game at close quarters. You should lose almost everytime

1 ReplyI think you're falling into a perception bias. One quick look at your DTR is all you really need to know. 30% of your lifetime kills are shotgun kills. 13.6% are bladedancer kills. Close to half of your crucible kills are coming from sources where you don't really have to aim. I'm going to go out on a limb here and say that you spend the majority of the match blink shotgunning anything that moves until your super is up, at which point you blindly rush into groups of enemies mashing R1 like you're opening christmas presents. It's easy to see why a titan raining on your parade has been noticeable, and can be frustrating. My advice would be to record yourself play. Watch tape, and see how your blade dancing can improve.

Why do people always say titan panic and use use of havoc? If I see a blade dancer coming to wipe my team out i'm going to fist of havoc you its not because we panic its because its the best thing to do to stop them especially when they are blinking around with that special active. Lightning grenades are great but the hunter arc bolt grenade with luck raspberry does just as good. As for shoulder charge anyone can see it coming and shotgun you before you even get close to them so I don't know why everyone always says well you titans have should charge like its so op.

The titans can't blink and we can't disappear in the middle of the battle, all the classes have different abilities and you must deal with it , dont be a pussy

The titan is sup be more tank like and huter is like glass Cannon.

all they have to do is panic and use fist of havoc
Is it impossible that they meant to FoH you? Nova Bomb is used the same way: to kill either one lone person, or someone using a super. Does that make it panic super too? I'm so tired of only FoH being deemed a "panic" super.
they kill me easily and walk away like my super has no effect on them
It %100 does effect them, unless you miss or they dodge. I think you may be projecting your issues onto this situation here.
The lightning grenade is too strong, chains too far and stays active too long.
Its very easy to dodge a lightning grenade, just one Blink will get you out of its radius. Otherwise either fly backwards or past it. It can also be shot, which destroys it, ending its reign of tyranny.
Shoulder charge seems to be a one hit kill, while others take atleast 2 hits to take down an enemy
Shoulder charge is incredibly easy to counter with a shotgun. Its only ever useful when killing enemies around corners.
The titan needs to be buffed in PVE
It's completely fine, if not the best PvE class. The Crucible is no place for mercy.

There are two topics, in the same column. One insists that Titans are horribly OP, another insists that they are underpowered. Does that tell you what it tells me?

MLG Pro tip: http://xboxclips.com/Anatamize/c0d13930-65aa-44f9-b05c-8a3253cce4bb How to bait a fist of havoc, by yours truly. You're welcome.

Titans do not have blink. This is a bad thing.

8 RepliesLet me tell you, Blade dancing and voidwalker are far superior to Fist of Havoc. Blade dancing gives you a lot of bonus health and armor, so its no problem that you can get at least 1 kill with ease. I like to think of Voidwalkers having a "ranged" fist of havoc. They can take out enemies before they get shot, and even if they do get shot, the nova bombs still(usually) come in for the kill. Titans, on the other hand, have to come close quarters. Sure, its an instant kill, but only from a short distance. Just in this past week, there have been several dozens of times I tried to first if havoc, but the enemy would back away a foot or two, and lose a small portion of its shield. Also not to mention you get shot 3/4 of the time when you activate FoH, assuming you don't have unstoppable. Blade dancers and void walkers have it much easier in my opinion.
