I used to always run Void walker in Pvp and recently I've switched it up just to keep things interesting. I know most people usually run Fireborn for there radiance but I've came to the conclusion that Radiant skin is far better. True enough you don't get the surprise of self res but instead you become this defensive tank. Combing radiant skin with The Ram or Heart of praxic Fire and you have a near unstoppable guardian.
Let me know your warlock builds

In pvp I always put on radiant skin... Fireborn in pvp is not very useful yet I see people with it all the time, I just laugh.
-
Fire born for trails, radiant skin for other game types the res doesn't help much
-
Radiant skin Claws of ahamkara Monte Carlo Throw shields everywhere any time and in case it doesn't work hit your super and throw all the grenades
-
Radiant skin is only an extra 5% over the armor you already get from radiance. I like song of flame. It's much more beneficial IMO. I run it all the time unless it is trials or nightfall.
-
Radiant Skin is far superior for regular crucible, especially combined with Apotheosis Veil. Fireborn is good for Trials though
-
Radiant skin + apotheosis veil.

3 RepliesRam and radiant skin can still be one shotted by found verdict's final round though... which surprised me.

HOPF Radiant skin Touch of flame Viking funeral Fire bolt grenade The grenade will burn anyone to within an inch of their lives. During radiance you are invincible with radiant a skin on, so you don't need to worry about not wearing the Ram. You can easily clear a zone even in your shortened radiance.

Fireborn has no place outside of trials. Radiant Skin FTW.

Edited by NathanDingus: 7/31/2015 6:11:02 PMHeart of The Praxic Fire Radiant Skin Firebolts Touch of Flame/Viking Funeral I'm pretty much unkillable during Radiance, and with HoTPF, the grenade spam is so real. Also, I see so many Sunsingers self-res in PvP just to not take the death. Such a waste. Radiance is one of the most powerful supers in the game when specked out correctly.

5 RepliesRadiant skin+Ram+flame shield= Ultimate tank of PvP. Survived a golden gun shot.
-
2 RepliesI got a dece build on my 34 if you wanna look
-
I don't want to say all of my build as I would hate to see it everywhere, but... Claws of Ahamkara with Red Death (for Rumble) Thorn or TLW (for small teams) Pair the Claws with Radiant Skin and Flame Shield and you are pretty much invincible in Rumble. Assuming you don't scare the ever living shit out of a Titan.

3 RepliesUntil you see a bladdancer. They still slice you like butter. Man I hate them in pvp..lol
-
I prefer radiant skin. I can see fireborn for something like trials but I mainly run radiant skin when I do sunsinger
-
I use radiant skin in PvP and have a 2.4 k/d with my warlock so... ~TheGreatNike

1 ReplyYeah radiant skin is much better, you don't get the fire born bonus unless you die, which isn't really something you should plan on doing haha
-
2 RepliesWhen I'm running a Sunsinger in PvP I like to use Radiant Skin, Firebolt Grenades, Touch of Flame, Flame Shield and I build it for armor and recovery. The Ram and HotPF are both very good, but give Claws of Ahamkara a try, they're very underrated.
