This is fact. It cannot be contended.
Edit - I can't believe how many butthurt Strikers are out there. The post was meant as a half joke but now that I see all the posts trying to say that blinking and using Thorn are more cheap I am convinced these people I talked about in the title have no idea how lame they are.
Let me explain a bit why the blinking and Thorn arguments are less valid. Thorn is a hand cannon which means that despite the poison ability, it still requires more precision aim to hit something with a single bullet versus a whiff of grapeshot. You also can't one-shot someone with Thorn, unlike a shotgun.
Blinking, to those who only use Titans and don't realise this, actually requires aim and timing. Unless there is a perk I am unaware of, there is no homing blink. It is actually the most complicated means of traversal in the entire game. Learning to blink shotty, while cheap, at least requires the skill to blink properly so you're not jumping at the ceiling or something. It is still scrub since it uses a shotgun but again, requires mastery of the hardest platforming skill in the game so it seems less scrubby to me.
Also, Fist of Havoc requires zero aim unless you're using the superman dive and that still requires minimal aiming, roughly the aiming skill of a nova bomb.
Furthermore, although Shoulder Charge can be used as a means of platforming, the main use is for offensive purposes and it can do damage in and of itself. It is impossible to physically hurt someone using Blink alone.
Viking Funeral can be considered cheap...but how can it cause physical damage in and of itself? Oh wait, it can't. You can't panic kill someone with VF or Blade Dance or Golden Gun. Literally the only two panic kill supers are Nova Bomb and Fist of Havok. But a Warlock with Nova Bomb and Blink and a Shotgun still is less scrub because of the reasons mentioned above: Blink takes at least some skill and can't cause damage versus Shoulder Charge that can.
So Strikers with shotguns have the move set and loadout that requires the least aim, least skill, has more offensive options and allows panic supers.
Seriously. I do not understand how people do not see how it allows the most scrub kills in the entire game. Yes, you CAN be a Striker with skill and get plenty of kills not using these methods and when I am killed by a Striker who uses a primary weapon or who uses FoH to take out more than one person I have no complaints. That usually doesn't happen though.

Wow I must be king of scrubs running around with the Universal Remote as a striker titan in the unstoppable helm and using shoulder charge

5 RepliesEdited by Racer X SS9: 8/5/2015 2:14:04 PMI don't use my Titan in the crucible very often. I took mine into iron banner on Monday so I could get to rank 3. Getting 10 melee kills has never been easier. Also, got a breaker medal on burning shrine by throwing a lightning grenade into C right off the bat add the team was running in to cap it
-
Blink doesn't take any skill. Blink is way more overpowered than shoulder charge.
-
12 RepliesIf you dont use thorn/tlw with a shottie in pvp you will get OWNED plain and simple...i learned this the long hard way...once one person is using this combo we all have to, that is the state of the crucible at the moment
-
Plus thorn* there fixed it
-
> backstab (I'm sorry, did I hit your forehead? Have an instant death). > bladedancer w/ hungering blade (inb4 " titans can smash us." You have razors edge bud). > blink + shotgun > arcbolt grenades > quickdraw (couple this with blink and shotguns)
-
I contend, whining about this on the forums makes you more of. scrub
-
Yes. Titan is the scrubbiest class. That's why less than 1% is used in PvP. I mean the 85% that use hunters with a typical load out of thorn/shotgun/blink are just crazy skilled...
-
I do this. When you really need to put the team on your back and kick the enemies into orbit, accept no substitutions. Remember, no one can hear you cry in space.

1 ReplyLol @ butthurt OP typing a f***ing novella.

Nice opinion not shared by anyone else kid! Take ur trill elsewhere!

blink shotgun lol

16 RepliesI totaly agree. However arc blade and golden gun are all 100%aim assist for kills. I've seen many times where the bullet of golden gun doesn't even look like it hit the target but still killed him. And arc blade is completely auto aimed in you're within a few feet you will always get the kill. But that neither here nor there. Strikers with shotty and thorn by far the scrubiest. I'd like to see a titan only user make a warlock and try to blink shotty. He'll go negative kd every match for the first few days. Lol

Maybe you just suck and are tired of getting killed by Titans.

6 RepliesHow dare you sir! I will have you know that I use a shotgun on all my characters. This means that I am only a third of a scrub!

Edited by RumblingJOSEPH: 8/5/2015 2:26:37 PMConfirmed: op is butthurt that he can't beat the master class. Now he tries to explain why we are scrubs. Edit: I normally don't judge off of kd but here I had to. 0.9 kd and you call us scrubs. Have you ever used striker in crucible? You obviously don't know how to use a titan. Panic bomb is way more op. Shoulder charge can 1 shot people, but you most likely get killed in the process.
-
you're a scrub for complaining and not being able to counter it. scrub.

While I do see and feel the rage some for my self, I learned early on in crucible that I'd have to learn to use a shotty to get kills. It is something I learned to do and adapt to. So why does that make me a scrub?(I'm also Titan) I heard of no such thing when I first learned wreck with it (which it is a bit(LOT) too op). It is my belief that party crasher +1 and matador 64 users are ruining that for everyone. As of thorn, it's a gun I CAN use, but I sworn to NOT use in pvp.
-
Ban all shotties and nerf striker cos op is mad

2 RepliesEdited by Loli: 8/5/2015 11:33:49 AMYou know maybe if there was some gun that was really good up close you could use to kill shoulder charge mid animation and also try and get more than five kills with a fist of havoc pretty hard right unlike arc blade and Golden Gun and don't forget self res oh and blink strike you don't have to be running to use it and you also don't have the troubles of getting shot mid animation

4 RepliesI rock Thorn and a shotty or sniper depending on the map. But no blink... That's just cheap lol

Tips for scrubs. 1. Don't get close enough for them to kill you with it. 2. Fight or flight instinct is important. 3. No one cares if hate shotguns. They're a buck shot spread, close quarters combat weapon and they're gonna kill you 1 shot (most of the time) 4. Again, don't get close enough to be killed by them.
