Etheric Light From Xur? Yes or No?
I am just curious of the community's standing on whether Xur should sell Etheric Light or not...
If you chose "Yes", please mention how many Strange Coins you think the Etheric Light should cost?
If you chose "No", please explain why you do not want Xur to sell Etheric Light.
My answer is Yes. I feel that it should be available to all players by way of Xur. Maybe one a week, per character, for 25 SC... I personally have plenty of Etheric Light from playing, but I have no problem with it being purchasable.

Yes, and it should cost the same as Exotic Shard ...one a side note - Etheric Light is slowly becoming (and for many has become already) [i]OBSOLETE[/i] to take this even further - this [i]'Etheric Light'[/i] is [i]nothing[/i] but a way BungieVision made us grind THE SAME freakin content even more, and sadly enough they've succeeded

No. Play some trials and you'll have more etheric light than you can spend.

I personally don't believe he should. I have 24 etheric light just sitting in my inventory, which shows me it was far, far too easy to reach level cap. I am probably a bit biased because I played through the forever 29 grind...(still have not gotten Hunter VoG boots 😭). Xur could maybe sell a combo deal...where you buy the shell for the etheric light one week, and over the next week or two you purchase the "light" separately, max 1 item per week. Or even better, you buy the shell, and must complete certain tasks the following week, having the shell in your inventory, then bring it back to xur and boom you have an etheric light. That way it's spread out over a couple weeks if you simply want to "buy" your way to level cap....obviously there are plenty of ways to "earn" your etheric light...you're basically handed 3 in PoE weekly, because Skolas is still a difficult encounter for some players, and Iron banner is a free 6 etheric light just for playing through the week. Just my thoughts...as I said I'm probably biased having struggled through the "forever 29 grind"

would be nice if they were sold, gives me something to use my coins on. Really, what's the point? In a couple weeks, vendors will have armor to get to 34 anyway. I have some stuff I would like to level up, but not really sure there is a need. I have a vanilla scout rifle that has great perks, well now I have 3 HOW versions like it, except with full auto. It doesn't feel as special. My Shadow Price has basically the same stats as some queen's auto rifle, except I can change the perks. In either case, they are 331, not 365, but is it that big a deal?

Its so easy to get etheric light. I have like 20-30 just sitting in my vault and I upgrade shit all the time.

You'd just do easy weeklies and get a lot of Etheric. An overbundance of them. And for those of us who have a lot of strange coins, I wouldn't try as much to get a group together for a quick 34 for Etheric cuz I'd just buy a crap load of Etheric from Xur anyways. It would just be too easy to get one if Xur sells them and not as much reason to do the other PVE events which I'm sure is one of the big reasons Bungie made Etheric light a thing to get in the first place.

No because I have 20 extras and every thing I own is ascended. Just play soon you'll have tons of excess ones.

Etheric light = legendary = earn it. POE + 3 toons = 6 per week Trials + 3 toons = 9 per week. This just in guys get 4 wins in trials and that's one light. You don't need to go flawless to get one. You need flawless for the third one.

Xur should sell at least one per Guardinan, per week. I have about 25 Etheric Light in my Vault after upgrading 3 Fatebringers, 3 VoC, 3 Found Verdicts. Ascending Vault & Crota gear for all 3 toons.

2 RepliesIt's already insultingly easy to get. They're basically giving it away already. There's no reason for Xur to sell it. He should just keep meddling in exotics and leave the legendaries alone.

I don't see a point why xur should sell it. Just like this week of Lag Banner, you can have 2light per character, 2light per character on 34/35. That's 12 freaking light already, I am not even counting ToO and a chance in nightfall!
