That's all fine and dandy, you want there to be a fair game for everyone, but who here has beaten Crota without cheating at the bridge?
I'll be honest, I've cheated every time just to collect the rewards, and I'll do it again in a heartbeat. I've also cheated, by carrying people through Nightfalls. I usually solo 95% of the Nightfalls, then get on destiny lfg only to invite two people who hasn't done it yet. Usually it's just a rocket from my Gjallarhorn and the enemy is dead. No, not even the wolf pack rounds, only the rocket and the enemy is dead. But those two I've invited still received exotics or strange coins.
If you ban one set of people, ban them all.
They won't though, because they need the money.
The cry babies strike again!!!!
Edit: it's weird how some of you can justify that one form of cheating is okay(cheesing) because Bungie hasn't done anything about it, but are willing to crucify another group of people because their cheating takes away from their experience or affect someone else negatively. As hard as it is finding a raid group if you don't have the right weapons, some people out there do actually want to do the raids legit, but they don't speak out because they don't want to be that person. Isn't that person who refuses to speak out being cheated?
Edit two: oh shit, you folks are something else. Lol

1 ReplyCheating in PvP (lag switching DDos etc.) Is drastically different to cheesing bridge, or staying up top for Templar The people that lag switched Crota, PoE etc. yeah, ban them But there is a massive difference between cheesing and cheating

I'm inclined to believe that you may be a PvP cheater in hiding. Cheesing in PvE rarely ever affects others negatively. In most cases it benefits everyone involved. Cheating in PvP always affects others negatively, ruining everyone's experience except the person cheating. I mean, it's really quite simple to comprehend.

Cheesing affects the non-sentient artificial intelligence in the PvE events. It doesn't negatively affect any of the players. The cheating mentioned in the update involves multiplayer where players are negatively affecting the experience of other players. People that choose to take advantage of exploits that aren't negative to the player base (cheesing) aren't hurting anyone. People that choose to take advantage of exploits that are negative to the player base are cheating & hurting the experience of the other players. Actions like this should be punished, otherwise it will keep happening & ruining player experience. That's the major difference between why some players were banned & the point you were trying to make. Also, carrying people through raids/nightfalls (or even trials of Osiris) isn't cheating, just means the guy carrying the other players has more weight of difficulty on his shoulders.

1 ReplyYou are something. Glitches or gameplay is one thing. Manipulating your internet connection is another. You are a turd

9 Repliessigh. OP is mentally challenged guys. try not to make fun of him for his stupid comments.

Cheesiness crota doesn't impact anyone else. Cheating in crucible does. Plus lag switching and pulling out lan cables is a bit different to wiping with a self res warlock

2 RepliesI think OP is trying to justify his lagswitching.

Your post is ridiculous

4 RepliesYour basically taking a deonotological standpoint - something akin to Kantian categorical imperatives. These tend to be rife with overgeneralizations and provide little room for possibilities outside of what you have already determined to be the only proper "moral" response. This is clear in your rigidness to anything anyone here has said - which leads me to believe your not really wanting a discussion but mere affirmation of your own belief that you have determined to be true at the outset. Try to listen and contemplate what some of these people saying even if you dont agree with it. The truth is often not so black and white. But, who am I to tell you what to do. -blam!- it. Ban them all so we can go back to playing COD. PS - hope you can take a joke ....you big dummy

I've done the bridge legit and it doesn't take long. Don't see why everyone cheeses
-
Manipulating a network and cheesing a bridge are two very very different things my friend
-
I respect your arguement here about how people get away with cheese ing. The only thing. Bungie can really do is patch the new cheeses asap
-
Oh no, dregs and other ai sure must be scared...

It's not same. changing the game to your benefit vs. benefit from the obvious loophole that is widely known to anyone with youtube. Now if the people there don't have access to youtube.... you may have a point.

5 RepliesDone the raid lactose intolerant and cheesy as hell before. Consecutively, actually.

ban the consoles for those bastards, and they will send lots of videos apologizing and crying

1 ReplyEdited by INevrBackDown: 7/31/2015 12:19:12 AMCheesing and cheating are different things. One is against ToS, the other is not

3 RepliesWtf did he just say? These issues have no relation to one another and cannot be compared. Cheesing PvE has no effect upon other players as they can do it as well and get the same rewards. Cheating in PvP has a direct effect upon other players. If you have to cheat to win in PvP you are just a plain lazy ass loser and will never amount to jack shit. You didn't earn anything that you have received. You took it from others. Cheating is for low self esteem douchebags who expect to have things handed to them. There is no pride to be gained by cheating.

8 RepliesEdited by IS0M0RPHIC: 7/31/2015 12:16:37 AMThere's a difference between server manipulation....and and exploiting IN GAME MECHANICS that the DEVELOPERS COULD HAVE FIXED MONTHS AGO, if they haven't fixed any of the cheese it means they're fine with it
