Should I give up and just use thorn in ToO?
I keep getting 8-1 but insist on using messenger cause I feel cheap using the thorn...
Should I just sell my soul?

No!! I used thorn my first go and got to lighthouse. Saw how much it ruins the experience when you play a team of 3 thorns. Put it in vault and haven't touched it since! Been to the lighthouse many times running with average crucible players while using the Suros, vex or fulcrum ! More rewarding not using it! Cheers
