All of Destiny versus all of Halo.
I gotta say, this will be good. Halo rings, Galaxy destroying technology and time displacement are not allowed. Halo universe has access to crota swords. (no gorgons)

The Precursors are essentially the creators of the universe, only stopped by the kind they birthed because they practically allowed it. The Forerunners, descendants of the Precursors and an almighty force in the Halo universe. They created the rings and shield worlds, as well as an empire that spread across 3 million galaxies. The Flood, most dangerous threat to the universe itself. The only way the Forerunners managed to defeat it was because of the rings, which, in turn, killed off the Forerunners. Even then the Flood are still a living threat. The Covenant, a growing empire in the vast universe. With vast numbers and millions of ships, it only takes a few weeks for them to completely demolish a planet. And last but not least, the Humans. Probably the weakest force in the Halo universe but still a dangerous one. They fight for good and are known to overcome almost any task, even if deemed impossible. Now onto Destiny's side. The Fallen, a broken up race of pirates. While a dangerous force, they can't take much of a beating without completely falling apart. The Hive, a force as old as the universe itself. With their ability to teleport fleets as well and to create their own dimensions, the Hive are possibly the most dangerous force in the Destiny universe. The Vex, something that can't be understood. They seem to be able to control time at will. While their goal is unknown, they are an extreme threat capable of wiping out civilizations with ease. The Cabal, a powerful military force capable of gravity manipulation and extreme terraforming. While proven to be a very powerful force their exact reasons are unknown. And then the Guardians, a bunch of half-assed idiots who can barely come together to stop a tank. While they have overcame many threats - the Vault of Glass and a Hive God, they can barely fend off their city against simple pirates. I mean, have you SEEN the cannons they have on the walls? USE THEM, DAMNIT! Personally I think the Precursors alone could wipe out every Destiny race, considering that they have complete and utter control over reality. Then the Flood could just infect everything and the Forerunners -blam!- up everything with the rings.

In Halo there are massive empires contenting for galactic dominance. The lore just isn't there. No star fleets, no fortress worlds, no super weapons. Not a very fair comparison.

It would make some sense. And the enemies in destiny are more evolved versions of the halo enemies. They are very similar. Think about it.

4 RepliesNot enough of destiny's lore is clear to accurately determine the outcome of a faceoff like this. For example, gorgons have the suggested ability to generate alternate realities and then bring those realities into being. The same power applies to the oracles and atheon/the templar. What's to stop them from simply bringing forth a reality where the covenant or the UNSC or the halo rings never existed? These enemies do this to us in the raid; they create alternate realities where the invading guardians cease to exist. There are many other questions too, like would the vex actually be affected by the halo rings? They're machines.

6 RepliesNo gorgons? How's that fair? Can I just start eliminating stuff from halo then? Templar, oracles, [b]gorgons[/b], over soul, death singer, etc. can just decide you don't exist.
