Bungie can't even fix their -blam!-ing servers it's annoying as -blam!-
I've had it loses connection too often
What piece of crap! Greedy bastards overcharge us as is for shotty subpar content and still we put up with more?!!
What the he'll do they do with all the money we give them?
-blam!- man can't even say like "oh are client base is awesome very loyal let's give back and fix some stuff or add something cool for them, you know as a way to give back."
No they probably like "oh oh servers are shot what should we do boss"
Boss says "-blam!- em"
I mean we've already heard what Lucas Bryan guy says which was basically the same so it's not really news how they feel about us
Am I crazy or do I have something here?

1 ReplyGames like Destiny are run on what is called a Listen server. Listen servers run in the same process as a game client. They otherwise function like dedicated servers, but typically have the disadvantage of having to communicate with remote players over the residential internet connection of the hosting player. Residential connections rarely support the upload requirements of games with many players; the typical limit is 16. Performance is also reduced by the simple fact that the machine running the server is also generating an output image. Furthermore, listen servers grant anyone playing on them directly a large latency advantage over other players and cease to exist when that player leaves the game. TL;DR Destiny servers depend more on the person's internet speed vs. The server functionality.

It's not you, my internet service is good and I have the same issues and if you want to rant, it's your right to.

Destiny runs on a peer to peer connection, their servers matchmake you, after that you're connected directly to the other players in your game with no server involvement. Dropping out mid game is not related to the bungie servers but to your connection to the people you're matchmade with.

1 ReplyThey don't have servers. It's your internet.

2 RepliesIf you are losing connection enough to create that hysterical rant the issue is with your internet / network / ISP. Not really sure how you could expect Bungie to fix that for you.
