7 RepliesThis is so funny. If a dude asks for help the majority of people will help. If a girl asks then the response is "gr8 b8" as if girls are non-existent in the gaming world and why the -blam!- someone would go out of their way to pretend to be a girl then ask a bunch of noob questions as bait..? Seriously? Is this really considered bait? If it is then those -blam!-ers really need a life. That or the response is "attention whore" because the majority of this community is so insecure and have never interacted with a female face to face that it makes them feel empowered. Not everyones a prick responding but those who are responding with these replies are definitely little bitches in real life.

I know it's something to do with pre HOW DLC but beyond that I haven't a clue... technically it's original, Pre TDB gear and pretty much unobtainable if you don't already have it. I have heard people mention 'special snowflake.' Is this a weapon name or a type of weapon? ---------Its a term referring to people that need to feel better than everyone else due to their grimoire or day 1 or beta player or whatever else they come up with the separate themselves from the rest of the player base. Even when you reach level 30+, is it still worth doing the lower level Vanguard playlists. I've heard they still drop legendary gear/weapons? ----------Not in my opinion, but you;ll have to form your own. the possibility of getting a legendary engram, or rare engram that decodes into legendary is far too low for me to worry about it. People at the Tower and the Reef who are selling weapons for Crucible - are those weapons attainable through NON-PVP methods? I really hate crucible but I like all those shiny weapons I haven't tried :D --------You can get crucible weapons from legendary engrams and faction packages as well (you don't have to do crucible to be in a faction). they don't have to be bought with crucible marks

To be honest if your a high level it is still good to play low level playlist for vanguard marks witch could buy gear even the level 1 missions are good to for glimmer farming but if u want to level up fast by grinding you should do the same mission over and over or play crucible

Not a Snowflake is a term used to describe a mentality of someone who feels that they and their gear make them unique. Most often used to counter the outrage of Xur selling a weapon that they earned and that by giving it to everyone, it makes it useless. The denouncing term, as far as I know originates, from the original Fight Club film: "You are not special. You're not a beautiful and unique snowflake. You're the same decaying organic matter as everything else. We're all part of the same compost heap. We're all singing, all dancing crap of the world." Because in reality snowflakes are in fact so random in their structure that they are said to be unique.

That would be some classics like Shadow Price and some others I don't remember at the moment. Not sure about the special snowflake, could be a troll phrase :P The lvl 28 strike playlist has a higher chance of dropping legendary engrams ( apparently ) and legendary weapons than the other playlists. However the lvl 26 drops weapons from TDB and the lvl 24 can drop legendarys from vanilla Destiny. Engrams have a small chance of dropping these vanilla weapons too. The only way to get Crucible Marks is through Crucible, hence the name of the item, [i][u]Crucible[/u][/i] Marks. So yeah, you're gonna have to, as the forum trolls put it, [i]git gud[/i]. [spoiler]Don't worry, I like doing control as it's fun and easy to get tons of kills. I reccomend ( sadly ) a handcannon or pulse rifle primary with a shotgun with decent range and impact, or a high fire rate sniper. Considering that's how crucible is dominated now, if you can't beat em, join em.[/spoiler] You can also rank up in each faction to get packages and pray to RNGesus you get one of the weapons. You can get the crucible gear at a really low drop rate from blue and purple engrams, but they'll have completely different and random perks when they drop. Not really worth grinding for IMO.
