Don't fear people with the flawless emblems.
Do not fear them when you are matched against them, most likely they were carried or suck.
Fear the ones with random emblems.
I haven't beed flawless yet but very close alot of times, anyways the times I have came across those guys they usually suck.
Edit: Some of you guys didn't get my point.
I didn't meant everyone who had it on sucked of course some are highly skilled, but most got carried to it lets all admit it because we know it's the truth.

I don't wear the emblem to show off or anything.. I really like the look of it. I didn't get carried either, I did my part in the team and had a great time with them. I have run across a few people with the emblem and they were a poor teammate or easy opponent. Other times I've had my butt kicked by them. It's just best not to immediately assume that we suck or sat there and let ourselves get 'carried' through to a flawless. Some of us actually made an effort and had a blast while doing it.

Or by players that have only made it a couple times. (9 times out if 10) Also if you inspect every exotic emblem person in pvp. They have crutch guns equipped.

yeah, just because someone wears a fancy emblem and weapon from the Lighthouse doesn't mean you can't win against them. Intimidating? A little, but everyone plays differently and your play style and skill might out match theirs. Never give up against opponents trying to intimidate your team.

Most of my team wore flawless emblem last night and a few matches we got beat were due to people teleporting from lag and being invincible. I love how there is at least 1-2 people that will skate around the map running into walls but won't damage and talk mad shit. We aren't the best crew but we use team work. There are a lot of trials people that are good and some that are bad; op is right, don't judge a book by its cover.

2 RepliesSo what is your point? What I sense is you feel like you deserve the emblem because you killed some of those people wearing the emblem. Going flawless is one of the most difficult achievements in the game right now. Wearing the flawless emblem is not any different than wearing the Skolas emblem after beating him. I really do not think people use their flawless or Skolas emblem to intimidate anyone. So what is the purpose of getting the Legend emblem? I think everyone should wear their flawless or any other emblem with pride! And people need to be happy for other people's accomplishments. My son wears his flawless emblem all the time in regular crucible. When he gets killed he gets tea bagged often and has received some very nasty messages so I had to change his privacy setting so he wont receive messages anymore. I don't think he is trying to intimidate anyone. When I look up those haters online none had made it to the lighthouse. I told my son they are bitter and jealous of his accomplishment and he should ignore them because they are not the type of people he would not want to be playing with anyways. My son asked me if he should stop using the emblem. I told him no!! You earned it and you deserve to wear, I said to him. BTW he goes flawless every week on all 3 characters. Does it mean he is the best pvp player in the world? Does it mean he cant die in crucible? For all the english teachers out there, I hope I did not make too many mistakes.

It means NOTHING. It's like chatter white, glowhoo, and the crota emblem. It was really cool and really badass the first few weeks, then it meant nothing a few weeks later. Honestly anyone could do trials so I don't see why it's such a huge deal. I'm an average player myself and I managed to do it. It just takes some teamwork and some smart strategies. Nothing more.

I just keep it because it looks cool to me. have 4 of them. I don't get carried. I'm always ontop or the middle guy. I do the carrying and I'm not a fag that uses shotguns or hand cannons in trials. Regular pvp? Yeah sure time to time. but trials I strictly only snipe. Even if a 1v3. I'll survive. I run sniper with multi tool just so I can get away faster. I've had plenty of clutch 1v3 moments. not everyone with flawless is complete shit and not everyone is carried. And not everyone with the emblem thinks they are the best. it's just an emblem,nothing special about it. you have it, I have it, we all have it. You're not good because you can run around with a thorn the whole game. try something new and see how good you really are when you switch. and I'm not mad or anything if you read this. Just people like OP that think because we have the flawless, we think we're the best. I don't think like that Atleast. Go flawless. Woohoo. Who cares? It's what? 9 weeks into trials? 1 Reply9-0 every weekend with ease, have the emblem on every character. Just like the emblem personally and I felt like I could support my brotha Vance for hookin it up. Never back down from anyone, no matter what they have. You never know when your team just has the right tools to beat someone. I have carried people yes but the people I carried were good hearted and deserving. They put in the time so I thought I could lend a hand. Not all people with the emblem are hardcore though, I agree with you there. There are some though that you might want to watch out for. Also not saying I'm the best crucible player but my team together is pretty solid. I'd say watch out for people that have multiple emblems, then you know they didn't just have 1 lucky run.

I use Jade rabbit in trials almost exclusively even though I have the flawless emblem. My team always runs Jade Rabbit emblems or random ones, and we usually sweep teams that all use flawless emblem. But we've also ran into full teams using the flawless emblem and we get swept. Moral of the story: don't judge a team by the emblem they carry and treat every team as a viable threat in ToO

1 ReplyI only PVP in Iron Banner. It seems that every time I've played with/against a person with the ToO emblem they are the only ones with red bars. Coincidence? Maybe. Annoying? Yes.

This means people who have it must of finished the card with wins more than anyone to have more of a chance to get it. I watch out for the 4 emblems you get from the postmaster. Most people I see with any one of those on is good and has near max grimoire while rocking supremacy. Those people actually make for good matches.
