Holy shit the COD community is toxic.
So for the first time in about a year, I decided to play some black ops 2. The first search and destroy match I join there's people telling me to kill myself for using the target finder sight. Then later on some fag said he's going to ddos me because I'm bad.
The fuсk is wrong with people?

18 RepliesSo is Halo. And CSGO. And Battlefield. Most communities are shit. Especially on shooters. The only shooter that has a great community is Titanfall. Most MOBAs are really bad as well.

I think the problem with the newer call of duty's starting at black ops 2 is the "future" aspect of the game. The modern and old call of duty's feel more like call of duty considering that's where it started. Also there's unwanted things added to these futuristic call of duty's like the MM scanner, target finder sight, exo suits, invisibility, sliding, etc. The companies who make call of duty really need to go back to their roots and start making games that the people want. Which is mostly older-style CODs like a WWII game maybe.

I actually play Black Ops 2 Search & Destroy specifically to talk to people. Although there are certainly many degenerates to be found, I regularly meet and befriend cool people.

Black Ops 2 has an awful community primarily because it's 'the best' according to the new kids and YouTubers so they bring all of their younger fans or sheeple to the game thus creating a poor player base. I play WaW and AW on PC and everyone is chilled mostly. When I hop on MW2 the people there are normally happy too.
