I'm quitting destiny due to today's Xur BS
Let me start by saying that I already have 3 Gjallarhorn. I'll equip them all after this post.
The way Bungie handles this game is shameful. The money. The lack of original content. The delays in fixes that everyone knows needs to happen. The reverse power creep. Master Rahool. You know, the many issues with this game that Bungie chooses to perpetuate.
Today though, there is no weapon in Xur's inventory, and a picture surfaced that shows him selling the celestial nighthawk and Gjallarhorn. Since today is the first time nighthawk has been sold, it's safe to say that was today.
For those of you crying, "photoshop!" Ask yourselves why today was the first time Xur ever arrived without a weapon for sale.
I think they did change the inventory, and the way they treat their player base is awful. I've been pretty bored with the game, and not impressed with the lackluster rewards from the expansions. I'll log in tomorrow to get the nighthawk, a last itch to scratch, and then I'm done.
I hope others will join in protest.
Edit: For anyone who is still having fun with the game, of course you're going to stay. That makes sense. For those of you who are tired of this game and don't like the way Bungie cuts corners and acts like they simply don't understand their player base, just quit. This game is an addiction. I know it as well as most. A lot of what they do reminds me of the initial Xbox one announcements.
I bought the season pass for this game, and as soon as TDB came out, I regretted it, but like a true addict I thought, "well, I already paid for dlc 2, so I'll just go until then so I can check it out." It was equally disappointing. I'm not about to pay them $40 for more garbage.

When they were 1st promoting game one of things they highlighted was the [b][i][u]uniqueness[/u][/i][/b]of characters How am I suppose to customize my character I f I can't get [b][i][u]ONE[/u][/i][/b]lousy piece of gear after countless hours on strikes??!

7 RepliesI was awake at xurs arrival. I always start at tower. I always go to speaker, vanguard, then ship area. I was there within ten seconds of his arrival. There was nothing. It's a fake picture. It's not possible for xur.to have shown, someone get a picture, and bungie remove it before I was there. It's complete bullshit. Someone is playing games on all you little whiney kids to make you scream I quit for the hundredth time. And you never do. Shut up, stop your bitching, and grow a pair. Or -blam!-ing quit.
