This recent update just put the nail in the coffin...
I feel 100% with my preorders of TTK (all my friends on xbox live are saying the same) !! Bungie's definitely going in the right direction with how gear should be and when you beat something and get loot it should mean something. Dropping Skolas and getting a new primary should be exciting and a replacement right away, but sadly you tards bitched about taking old guns with (hated idea and still do)
Personally sitting on a fb/vision, black hammer, gjelly setup has been boring as -blam!-. I hated being pidgeon holed into using certain viable guns (yes id actively use different stuff to mix it up).
Gimme more stuff like Lord of Wolves with fireteam buffs!!
For you idiots thinking the gjelly nerf is a bad thing ... just wait you will see more diverse special/heavy setups that are on par. Theres a reason black hammer was nerfed as well and now opens up that slot as well. We may see LDR/Thunderlord, P&T/Hunger, Lord Wolves/Radeghast etc etc... hell we will see.
Will this post get flamed.. oh -blam!- yeah because it doesnt contain gjelly/black hammer tears.

5 RepliesYeah you're right. Let's encourage bungie to make more bullet sponges as bosses so people can just have different load outs. There was a reason everyone wanted those guns because quite frankly, it was the only way to not spend hours upon hours beating one guy. I'm all for changes but if they keep the "bullet sponge " thing alive then I fear destiny is going to fall in the crapper when battlefront hits the market.

9 RepliesLol, so you're happy with them releasing new weapons that suck so bad that they had to go back and make the original weapons worse just to compensate? Don't get me wrong, I'm all for a little rebalancing, but they need to be raising the bar, not lowering it.

1 ReplyI personally would also enjoy more creative perks that support the whole fireteam...I'm glad they're buffing the one we have now and hope that shows it's a direction they want to go. You also have a great Friday. Mine will be hectic getting ready to pack the family for a trip to Tahoe...but a week of relaxing is right around the corner. =)

3 RepliesI agree with OP 100%, individually the changes seem bad and drastic at some points. Yet as a whole it seem like it will bring that balance back that I was hoping for. I want to use different weapons in pvp, hell I want to use necrocasm to blow the hell out of captains. I want to use what I want to have fun and this update seems like the perfect step in that direction. Yeah I'm a bit upset about gally, yet in the end my whole "fatebringer, shotgun/blackhammer, gally" combination gets old :/ glad this whole god-tier selection is getting fixed.
