If you don't have a gally you won't be in my raids.
Dear fellow gaurdians I've never use to be like this but, after the gally nerf I will require a whole team of gallys to do the damage I used to do with 3-4 so now I need all 6. If you don't have one I'm not raiding with you. Until months into the DLC and have adequate replacements. I'm sorry but don't blame me; blame bungie. They think this will make the game more accessible to players who [b]don't[/b] have it but really now you are going to [b]need[/b] one for a spot in my fire team. This is how I am combating the nerf. Good going bungie.

Edit: I used to carry people through crota hard every week because you only needed 2 and everyone else didn't even have to shoot crota, but now you won't be able to do that so I'm sorry but you won't be in my fireteam without one. The days of the backpack are over gaurdians.
Edit: I am not saying I need gally to get things done I am saying now you need one to get on my fireteam
Edit: okay so some of you aren't seeing that the first part is more like an observation people will make when compiling raid groups it ie [b]NOT[/b] necessarily my opinion, however I will not allow non gally users into my group in protest for a while and encourage others to do so until a solution has been found.

3 RepliesI don't own a Gjallarhorn, but I agree the nerfs were completely stupid. I can agree with the proximity nerf, but the dmg reduction was stupid. They could easily fix the problem of exclusions by making better rpg perks or simply increase the drop rate a bit. I've never had a problem getting a group for activities, even with nobody having Gjallarhorn. Some people just don't know how to make friends or are to lazy to try. The perks for Gjallarhorn are meant to be special. This game is full of crybabies. I don't whine about anything on here, I just wish everyone would do the same & stfu. If it's not about apparent bugs, glitches or exploits of course. Just enjoy the game.

1 ReplyTotally agree here. They didn't need to mess with the Gally or the Black Hammer. What's the point of it now? In every game there is an all powerful weapon that everyone strives for. For Destiny it was the Gally. This was the bench mark. It was also a symbol of the right of passage. Not everyone has one, but everyone wants one. Now, who cares. Well done Bungie. Instead of making the weapon more available, you just took a giant shit on your own product. A few people complaint that they are excluded because they don't have it so you ruin it for everyone. Good job.

The sad thing is we'll be right where we are now, with people being locked out of activites and the community divided. Most likely worse than it currently is. I'm no expert on the subject, but the way Bungie is dealing with weapons is just terrible.
