Sign here if you don't want bungie to nerf Icebreaker, black hammer, the last word, Hawkmoon and gjallarhorn.
Bungie just when i thought you cant mess things up even more you proved me wrong
They are nerfing range and stability of the last word when all they needed to do was to fix the glitch.
They are nerfing the icebreaker so now it takes 48 seconds to fully regenerate all 6 shots back when it use to be 30.
They are nerfing hawkmoon so now the luck shots dont stack, they do less damage and they have a less of a chance of activating. Now its just a handcannon with no perks.
They are nerfing black hammer so now when you land 3 shots it takes the ammo from your inventory making it so you cant chain shots forever so if you have a black hammer your weapon is going to be useless next update.
They are nerfing GJALLARHORN because people without GJALLARHORN were crying to bunge because people dont want to play with them because they have no GJALLARHORN
Now GJALLARHORN is just a shit version of the truth because they are reducing the damage of wolf pack rounds
because of this i refuse to play with anyone who doesn't have GJALLARHORN because they caused the best weapon in destiny to be nerfed
And to top it off THORN IS BEING BUFFED Now the thorn DOT damage STACKS UP TO 5 TIMES. ARE YOU ON CRACK?
Also if you are a fan of handcannons every single hand cannon in the game is getting a range and clip size nerf
EDIT: I was looking forward to playing the taken king but after this update i am selling destiny and never buying a bungie product ever again in my life
EDIT 2: You can clearly see why this nerf happend now. bungie wants people to spend $40 on the taken king to have access to the new extoic weapons wich will be better than ice breaker and G horn which is why they didint give a damage % for the G horn nerf
This is disgusting and i ask people please dont support this shady and disgusting way of forcing people to buy DLC
Personally after this update im quitting destiny entirely
If this was really about balance the update would come out next week but its about profiting off people so its coming out a few days before the taken king

9 RepliesAwww, the little baby is crying about guns getting changed... HAVE YOU EVER TAKEN 5 THORN SHOTS AND NOT DIED? That's a Thorn buff for PvE, but a nerf in PvP which is exactly what it needed. People just don't think anymore, I swear...

3 Replies1: The Last Word was too easy to use, period. 2: I love camping like a wimp with Ice Breaker just as much as the next guy, but are we really complaining about them trying to make [i]infinite[/i] ammo a tad less OP? 3: shots don't stack up to three, two can still stack, only the luck in the chamber round is losing damage, and it's by a whopping three percent, and the ammo increase will counteract the loss of ammo to all HCs 4: oh I'm sorry, I guess you just want to have infinite ammo with virtually [i]zero[/i] effort required? besides, it still probably has the best DPS of any special as it can still chain 21 shots in total 5: Ghorn will still have the best damage of any rocket launcher, and some even fear that it may make it even more necessary. 6: so, I'm gonna talk about Thorn in PVP. the current DoT is 7, the DoT is going to be 1/3 of its current damage, putting it 2. two shots to the head will mean a 4 damage DoT, which shouldn't be enough to kill most players. three body shots will result in a 6 damage DoT, which may still kill most players, but high armor builds should now be effective. 7: yes, that's so that scouts will have some kind of use. 8: you're quitting the game because of a balance update, but last balance update you had no problem with? last update utterly demolished 2 full classes of weapons from practical, which included 4 exotics for xbox, and 5 for playstation.

Uh, no. These guns make the game feel like i need them to be good in general. Granted i have all these super power weapons and they make the game boring, unfair, unbalanced, and just plain stupid. Let bungie do their job this patch is a great weapon patch top to bottom.

1 ReplyI don't care if people have the Thorn or the Gally etc.. I still would wreck the lot of them as I have been doing. I do want these weapons just so I can have them and have people stop misjudging my level of skill just because I don't have them. It's all stupid.

Screw the exotic hand cannons. They needed nerfs. Cant support gjally ice breaker and black hammer getting hit. Along with some of the rolls like field scout.

1 ReplyThe Ice Breaker and Black Hammer nerfs are idiotic, plain and simple. I hope Bungie doesn't get any "bright" ideas and apply the same BH nerf to something like the Bad Juju.
