I enjoy playing on new maps every week, finding the key spots, sniper lanes and just so I can say I've gone flawless on every map. Hopefully they don't repeat another map

No. I love Trials. Yesterday I got my friend who isn't great at PvP flawless for the first time. Hearing how happy he was and how amazed he was searching the Lighthouse for lore (since he is a huge lore fanatic) really brought a smile to my face. It was all good laughs.

Change up your play style! I played using The Last Word and Longbow Synthesis. But this week after my friend got two flawless and I got one he wanted to just fool around in Trials of Osiris. We went Thorn shotgun and rushed them. First card we went 0-3 second card went flawless. It's actually fun yo try a style of play you're not used to with OP or easy to use weapons. I think in Trials most people like to sit and wait for their enemies so some people don't know how to handle a team rushing them. Most people just hid jn their spawn after and the odd time a team would basically just switch spawns lol Fun times.

ToO is fine, but stale because of the current meta, cant switch things up without putting myself at a considerable disadvantge, then again everyone ive matched so far has been awful, with the one exception where i matched a guy and his team that were in the top 50 on DTR, lost because me and my team lost focus, idk man, in the current meta its not enjoyable to me, whenever bungie decides to get their heads out of their ass and throws out some serious weaponbalancing ill be down to play some more. right now the only motivation would be rewards but the chest on mercury wont stop giving me ARs and scoutrifles, the sht thats sold in the shop, the gear anyway always has bad perkrolls, the primaries he sells arent worth it and the special/heavy weapons have bad rolls aswell and what i mean by that is that i could buy some weapon from a vendor and reroll it to something that outclasses the trials weapons in terms of perks. the fact that special ammo bonus rolls on boots instead of the chestpiece simply baffles me, why the hell would i give up heavy ammo for special? or why would i use a trials chestpiece when the PoE/VoG chests are clearly better? dont even get me started on heavy weapon reload speedboost, on pvp gained gear? absolutely wasted, esspecially in trials, most matches i play during the heavy round it ends before i even get to use heavy, let alone reload, still ok for pve but thats about it. id really like to see some objective based trials but the thing is that all objectives in this game can be completely ignored and still be able to win. then theres the cheaters running around risking their tags for solely going to mercury to hopefully get shafted by the chest and get junk. still tho it doesnt have the competition i had expected and i dont even consider myself that good, i mean when pantheon was the map i matched people that didnt even leave their spawnpoint, they just crouched there, even in the heavy round and during the same run me and a friend got carried by a lvl 30 that used no land beyond, still i know why theres no competition because i match these people all the time in control when i go in by myself, these people are just horrible and the reason why i lose 4 out of 5 control games, they go into trials and expect to go flawless when its obvious they have no insight, no awareness, no gunskill, all they have right now are high impact shotguns with insane range, crutch handcannons that kill people in 0.3 seconds and final round spears alongside blink and proximity rocketlaunchers. and literally everyone uses this and still they lose but im going off track here so ill end it here.

I have been flawless 4 times now and received all of the weapons I wanted, Solar/Void Jewel, Arc Messenger, and Void Scholar. At this point I literally only play for the competitive aspect as opposed to the rewards. There is just such a great feeling about being 1v3 in a must-win game, and taking out all 3 guys as your team watches.
