People who use the flawless emblem..................likely suck in regular crucible.
My reasoning for this statement? Well I know because it's either one of two things: 1. That emblem is their biggest achievement in pvp,so they want everyone to see that they're "bad ass" 2. They just sat in a backpack coming along for a free-ride
In my eyes at-least, the ones I see "tryharding" use that emblem as a scare tactic for those who haven't gone flawless yet. I see through that facade of a "hey I'm flawless you better watch out!". I'm immune to that Jedi mind trickery!
(I wonder how many people read up to this point)
Since the carrying of people to the lighthouse began, the emblem became less of a sign of elitism and more of a sign of, "I got carried" or "I can't comprehend getting headshots because I final round to win".
TL;DR If I see that flawless emblem, I know it's an easy win.
EDIT: To clarify, when I say a person using the flawless emblem, I really mean full teams of 3-6 using the emblem exclusively.
EDIT 2: I don't mind you simply liking the emblem because of the look, this post addresses the people who think they're hot shit because of it.

Some people seem to think this is about me not wanting average players to have the emblem. This is far from reality. Have it on all 3 of my characters because it's the only exotic emblem so I like it. It is in no way hard to obtain though and I am always surprised when I smash a team with 3 of them 5-0 wondering how they ever got it in the first place.

Shit on a bunch of flawless people in rumble yesterday. Been in a couple trials games but nothing to serious yet. Most of the clan hoped over to ESO and havent had much time myself.

I stopped rockin it after like the second week of ToO for a couple reasons. 1. I'm not the greatest, of the 3 guys on my Trials team, I'm #3 lol. I don't suck and didn't get carried, but the other 2 guys I run it with are F'n beasts. 2. Seems like 99% of the guys that I see with it in regular crucible are the worst, the emblem has been devalued by all the scrubs.

I wore it the first 3 weeks but then i started seein ppl in rumble that thought they were "cool" with it and always complainin wen i didnt hav my exotic emblem equipped and they got their asses handed to em I also found many ppl that "went flawless" on lfg but sucked balls and couldnt get a single kill so now i prefer to just wear my faction emblem

I don't necessarily wear it because I feel I am ruining its purpose everytime I die for a stupid reason. That's just me though.

1 ReplyI'm not great ok but i use it only my warlock because I usually pull off a 1.9- 2.2 but for some -blam!-ing reason this shity app won't update but anyways if I see another exotic emblem I watch out for that person..... chances are he's good at something even if its throwing grenades

Is their a bigger pvp achievement than going flawless in trials? Only thing I can think of is the yellow medals, but you don't get an emblem for those

I like the look and it's a symbol that you finished the end game content. For me, it's the same as wearing the chatterwhite after beating vog for the first time. I'll admit I can get mopped across the floor in regular crucible, but I've also been top dog by over 2000 points before.

Personally I think that it is the biggest achievement in all of destiny, all others are too easy to earn (CE, Eris Morn rank 4, PoE level 35, etc)

I use my flawless emblem because it's trials related, and you must go against some bad people

I like helping people go flawless not carrying them but helping them I gives me a good feeling.

2 RepliesYou base this on you don't have to have any skill to get the flawless emblem, but you seem to forget you have more playtime in the crucible than 99% of players. When someone does something 5 to 10 times more than the average user they are typically at the top % skill wise.

I use that emblem all the time the first time I went flawless was last week on burning shrine. To me it was sheer luck as me and my team barely won some of our matches 5-4 so to me it's more luck than anything.
