Yo I swear Level 34 Is such a deceiving level. I've played with so many shitty 34s recently in raids and trials it has me wondering how the hell do I distinguish who's a good player and who's bad?!?! Back when VoG was the only raid and weapons maxed out at 300 It took skill to be a 30 because if you had a crap team you had no chance of getting Max light. When you seen a 30 you knew they put in work. There needs to be a TRUE skills rank because I'm sick of not getting passed VoG or Crota because these nubs don't even know what they're doing half the time. Anyone else have this issue???!!! I can't be civil and help everyone that doesn't know how to play. That'd take hours with some. I don't have time to blow like that

You are literally describing your self. Low grimoire, very poor K/D and not many raid completions. Wtf... Is this satire ?

15 RepliesEdited by Sherpa: 7/14/2015 5:51:32 PMFor raids Look up their gamertag Go to their grimoire Activities Raids Vault of glass or Crotas End Check completions For PoE Look up gamertag Grimoire Activities House of wolves Prison of Elders Check completions For PvP Look up gamertag Look at medal score / KDs Misc Look at grimoire score 100-1000 = new 1100-1900 = very little experience probably never raided. Very little content done. 2000-2500 = little experience very few (if any) raids or high level content completed 2600-2900 = semi experienced probably very little end game activity completions between 2600 and 2800 but probably a decent amount around the 2900+ mark 3000-3200 = experienced usually done end game activities a fair amount 3300-3500= high experience usually large amount of end game activities done 3600+ = pretty much have completed most grimoire and probably just missing killing certain types of enemies 250 times if they're not at maxed. Have done everything many times.

You know, your K/D ain't too great either buddy....I hate to break it to ya.

I solo crota, don't run vOg without normal raid team, Skolas is a joke!
-
Grimoire is a good bet but some of those suck as well

Edited by fangtimes: 7/14/2015 7:23:37 PMThe reason you see so many bad 34s is because all you have to do to get 42 light armor is buy it from Variks, granted it's not the best stated gear but it's the level that counts for the most part be caused your damage is entirely dependant on your level in relation to your enemies. Before to get to max level you had to grind out raids for the armor and the materials to level up said armor.

7 RepliesLow grimoire and low medal score is good way to tell now. All the scrubs are 34 but the day 1 grimoire's don't lie
-
I just did nightfall with two 34s, and they both died to the hobgoblins outside the first building
-
Bruh. Only way you can really tell is by playing with them. Often low grimoire signifies less experience, but ive played with some really awful max level players. Just gotta take the plunge
-
I'm like the only 34 who has every Exotic but Gjallarhorn and the Raid Exotics. Forever alone.
-
you are so right its like bungie took out allthe grind out of a grind game and level doesnt mean anything anymore

Just an example to support your statement: I deleted one of my three Warlocks the other weekend in order to start a new Hunter. Within 2 days I finished the story. On Friday, I had enough Vanguard Marks to buy Gauntlets, I had two legendary engrams for helmet and boots. I bought the chestpiece from Xur. Basically, with the help of my friends, I brought my Hunter to Level 33.5 In a nutshell, you can be Level 33 within two weeks with a little bit of luck. That doesn't make you an experienced Relic Holder / Swordbearer / Skolas Killer. Yes, I experienced the same with LFG guys...

2 RepliesNot sure how level is any indication of skill. It never was in CoD, it never was in Battlefield. Destiny is no exception though I do get a chuckle out of people that constantly get killed by Phogoth who are 34s.
bullshit. when you saw a 30 pre-TDB you saw a lucky sumbitch whom Atheon had smiled upon and blessed with that damned helmet -- and the rest of the raid had also dropped them everything else they needed. it was just as chancy back then that your precious team of 30s-only-must-have-maxed-IB-and-Gjally-equipped-at-the-same-time would be able to make it through VoG HM or not. there's never been any guarantee of skill based on light level, not now, not ever.

I feel your 34 fraud fam..foreal

Edited by Sellout: 7/14/2015 4:34:37 AMI know some shitty 34s. One of them has 1000 hours put in only because he never turns off his xbox and he just leaves his character in orbit when he doesn't play. He tries to act like I'm crazy when I ask him about it but hours mean nothing. Neither does level. You can be a shit player no matter what level you are or how many hours you've put in. This same guy tried using his level to compare to all of his friends levels and act like he was the alpha. Like a virtual dick. We took a break from the game and he kept playing which resulted in him getting max level before us. He was still shit though.

and this is why raid matchmaking would be a complete clusterf*ck
but equally hilarious
2nd Year Players be like "What Are Those!?" to oracles. 1st Year Players be like "and i'm out"

I played with some random 34 sound like little kids. They had raid weapons but couldn't beat VOG on normal. I quit after several attempts they just kept dying at atheon.

Was doing LFG HM VoG this weekend at the templar I asked who wants to run the relic all I heard back was crickets. Asked if anyone wanted to learn and still no reply. Ended up bailing after gorgons chest since they were doomed at the gate keeper with only one relic bearer anyway.
