I think you'll find the very great majority of players using those guns are not taking part in those activities either. Maybe you shouldn't generalise based on your own poor experience. EDIT: Didn't mean to quote the post originally, but am now glad I did since you've essentially deleted it. It's ok to rant, but a word of advice - if you can't stand by what you say because you don't like the responses you've received, think twice before posting again.

My tbag rules are: Tlw vs blink shotgun (or any corner camping scrub with a shotty) = tbag Tlw vs self rez warlock = tbag Tlw vs bladedancer = tbag Tlw vs shoulder chargin titan = tbag Tbag all thorn users :o No land beyond kill on all maps = tbag :p Other than that i only tbag people who decide to be jerks and initiate tbag for no reason, or cocky nubs playing trials who think they are gonna win when up 2-0 then lose the whole match. Most people are also very terrible with those two hand cannons and only use it because everyone else is, all while still getting killed more times than they would wish. This is destiny and it is what it is until we get a nerf or buff (if ever). So... Have fun guardian! the crucible is no place for mercy after all.

I'm a LW user and do I understand how it is frustrating to go through skirmish with the enemy using hand-cannons (I was once there too). What bugs me is the fact that other players cannot act mature when doing Crucible with hand-cannon exotics. Hand-cannons are specialized for close-mid range and situations like corridors and hallways (take Asylum or Mercury for example). When a player exploits those advantages to their favor, but then acts cocky because they believe that they have such good skill it simply means that they cover up their flaws. Try using a legendary hand-cannon with half the fire rate and then they'll have the right to brag about skill, but only then. But you should switch to something better than that auto.

I use TLW because I don't like running Thorn. I've been working on leveling 4 different hand cannons to try in the Crucible (Red Hand, Loner.Rebel, The Revelator, Ill Will) each with their own perks. I run TLW when I want to win and be competitive. Call it what you want but like a few people said I can stop a blade dancer and shot gunners get put down before they get to me (mostly.). I know there are other guns, but I get sick of losing sometimes. It's not like the Crucible is full of level 10s. I know we want to use different guns but the gap is too severe
