Its not that we are pathetic or suck... it is just that of we use anything else we are at a disadvantage and most likely will lose.

TLW can be balanced. I use it but that ADS bug is what makes it OP. Plus the impact is so high that the low range damage drop off doesn't affect it that much. Thorn just has way too much impact, range, and stability. I used it for maybe about 200 kills, but it just feels dirty. The DoT is really a game changer. The thorn prevents health recovery. I know the DoT is what makes it unique, but the time to kill is insane. The thorn's range makes scout rifles and snipers useless if you have the send it perk on. Autos (RIP suros and shadow price) and pulse can't fight it in mid range because of the increased stability perk. And don't get me started on that final round perk, it's just OP. I don't hate the thorn, but I would like to become a gun that isn't nerfed into crap. A nerf should make something still relevant, but keep it from dominating PvP.

Hand Cannons require more skill than Almost every other weapon in Destiny save Snipers and Fusions. My only advise is to switch your load outs and play with a variety of guns instead of relying on one type. You will see than there are a lot of guns that can out gun/class Hand Cannons.

Tlw only needs is ads bug fixes it's fine after that, and being fair you used a auto rifle and expected to win.....

TLW is just plain and simply fun to use....thorn.....don't like using it

Last word actually takes some skill to use(unlike thorn). But i do agree that they are overpowered in a sense, but they shouldn't be nerfed as bad as auto rifles(suros) were. I would like to see thorn get a range and rate of fire nerf and last word get a RoF nerf and it's ads glitch fixed.

People just using the best tools available. If I'm trying to build a house; why would I use a hammer when there is a nail gun in the truck?

Hello! WarblingHawk here. Destiny player and also a proud owner of the two exotic Hand Cannons that everyone seems to despise so much. I have a few points regarding this popular issue that I'd just like to get off my chest. So many people are saying "NERF HAND CANNONS THEY'RE TOO OP!!!!" but I know for an absolute fact that if Bungie do nerf them in the future - which is certainly not impossible, given how well Bungie listen to players - people will[i] then[/i] be saying "WHY DID YOU NERF HAND CANNONS THEY SUCK NOW". You can't seriously expect Bungie to just keep nerfing guns all the time, I mean if we keep on like this all the guns in the game are gonna suck. This argument just kind of confuses me because there's no actual problem. You're basically saying [i]"This gun keeps killing me in Crucible, I don't like it. Bungie make it less OP!!!" [/i] Like...???? Yes. They're Hand Cannons. They're powerful weapons, that's kind of the point. Hell, I hate shotguns and Red Death and rocket launchers because they kill me all the time. Maybe Bungie should nerf all those too, since everyone uses them. I said this the other day on another similar topic....I don't think the problem is people using Thorn or TLW. I think the problem is some (not all) people can't seem to be bothered to learn how to properly use other guns, y'know? You're saying SUROS and Auto Rifles got really downgraded - which they did - but that doesn't make them useless. If you practice with them, I think you'll find that you will get really damn good with 'em. I started using SUROS recently, and I love it! Scout Rifles can really deal some damage as well. Another issue I have with this argument is people insulting [i]everyone[/i] who uses Thorn or TLW. I mean come on that's not cool. Some kid might have just spent hours doing the Thorn bounty and is over the moon at getting this awesome Exotic hand cannon, only to come on here and see people calling Thorn users 'pathetic'. That's not a nice thing to see. SIGH [b]Moral of the story:[/b] For christ's sake let people enjoy the video game and use whatever damn gun they want to.
