After you've voted, reply why you chose the choice you did, and how you feel about other generations.
edit:
Happy that no Desticles have bagged on this yet.
edit 2: I meant IV. Sorry.

None, I'm done being a Spartan.
-
Orion. I'd still be a capable soldier, if I survived.
-
Spartan II
-
1 ReplyI wouldn't. I'd be a Space Marine.
-
I would rather be a spartan 4 because i dont think i would care to be taken as a child and physiologically broken down and messed up, there is no doubt that they are powerful (and the most powerful in my opinion), but fours are good enough with still being anle to have some kind of childhood and being extremely skilled fighters even without training as a child or being augmented like crazy as a teenager.
-
At least I still have my humanity if I'm a Spartan IV.
-
3 RepliesWhy be a spartan when you could be a Sangheili?
-
2 RepliesI'm not sure what the II requirements were, but I was pretty smart and EVERYONE played soccer when they were 4
Apparently even Crota, according to The Taken Father and Son video... I cry every time I think about it..,
I always liked the idea of using cybernetics to improve soldiers instead of genetics. Plus, this new voluntary generation of super-soldiers can set the precedent for a "Bad Company" like fireteam, or Spartan-IVs going AWOL and becoming mercenaries...if canon lore ever goes that far.

4 RepliesEdited by Charlemagne: 8/23/2015 8:16:03 PMFrom a lore standpoint, probably a Spartan-II. At the age of 6-7, I would have met more of their criteria that I know of. I was physically and mentally what they would look for. Spartan-IIIs would probably be my next choice, if only because I would have volunteered in such a dire crisis. However, for Orion, IIIs, and IVs, I have no current military training, so I'd doubtfully be a candidate. I've also moved this into Gaming.

3 RepliesSomeone doesn't know their Roman numeral

S4 for sure. Safer

1 ReplySpartan IV so I wouldn't have to go through all the pain of procedures.
-
III because suicide mission. #nopressure

4. They're more powerful than 3's, Less powerful than 2's but have spartan abilities, are fertile and have the latest generation armour.
-
Spartan II
-
Spartan 2 they are the OG like me I've been halo since the beginning
-
An ORION like Johnson or Byrne.
-
5 RepliesI'd be a spartan IV. Preferably the halo 5 version. The Orion project was mainly a test group. Spartan II's had a very low survival rate for augmentation. Spartan III's were pretty much bitches to oni and didn't do much but die all the damn time. Desticles are ghey. So there's my input.
-
Lol if you chose II's than half of you will die from augmentations and you would have a lack of basic humanity. Spartan-IV's have the easiest/safest procedure with a high success rate and normal humanity in tact.
-
5 RepliesWell, ORION sounds great if I want immunity to the flood, which was a side effect, right?
-
None, I'm a lazy ass lol.

Probably a Spartan-II. The II's were the first truly successful ones; no expense was spared in their creation. Sure, the III's and IV's had a safer augmentation process, but they were always destined to be chasing the legends of the II's. The II's were costly, and produced a limited number of soldiers, but they got unmatched results. The III's were an attempt to cut costs associated with the Spartan program. Thus, they were not given the same level of equipment and training as the II's. The IV's were an attempt to strike a balance between the II's and III's, so they had better gear, but lacked the additional costs of raising children, instead pulling in older candidates from the armed forces. The II's also had one thing the two subsequent generations did not; Dr. Catherine Halsey. The II's had a much closer relationship with her than either the III's or IV's (arguably none, as supervising her aboard the Infinity doesn't really count in my book). I find Dr. Halsey fascinating, and would have enjoyed the opportunity to work, or even just interact, with her.

2 RepliesSpartan II Obviously, I mean...WHO THE HELL DO YOU THINK I AM.
-
Although they are not as awesome as spartan 2s, the 4s still have their humanity. So I would rather be a 4.

5 RepliesLet's see.... 384 votes for Spartan-IIs. Most of you would probably die due to incompatible genes. If you all did have compatible genes, only half of you would survive. So, that's 192.
