Why do YOU support cut content?
So as we all know destiny is filled with content....that's behind pay walls. Lets us see what was all cut and re sold or waiting to be re souled shall we!
1. The dark below "expansoin"
2. House of wolfes "expasion"
3. All exotic weapons and armor from said "expansions.
4. The raid from HoW
5. The summer raid that they said we would get for HoW not having one
6. 374 dynasty
7. That other exotic scout rilfe(cant remember the name off it)
8. 3rd subclass there has been a space for it since the beta yet now we gotta pay for it
9. The taken king content!
10. The taken king raid. That makes 3 raids that were cut and resold or will. Be resold!
11. All 9 of those class items for 20$!
12. Trials of osirus!
Thats 13 things cut and sold in the first year alone! And 9 more years to go at that rate buy year 10 they will have cut almost 120 things!
So my question again is why do YOU support cut content??!!
Edit 1. 14. Also forgot the cut content from xboxes!

because it's a game I enjoy playing so I give them money to play more of it. If you don't think it's worth your money don't give it to them. Either enough people support it and it keeps going or everyone dumps it and it dies. This is the cost of admission. This is the business model it's based around. Either you pay and keep paying or you play something else. If you don't see value then there are dozens of other game companies that will happily take your money.

1 ReplyBelieve me they are some HUGE problems with Destiny, but I don't necessarily think it is solely on the cut content, if that is even the case. Either way, from the looks of things, Bungie can do all they want and sell Emotes for however much they ask and literally nothing would change.

9 RepliesThey never stated there would be a raid for HoW. They said "for release later this year" - they never said this would be associated with HoW. The community made that assumption. That being said, yes, they cut content. I don't like it, but they are a business. Hopefully they one day understand how much this angers players and stop doing it, but I don't see that happening any time soon.

You must be ignorant of a lot of things. Fate of all fools isn't even in game, 1 person has it. It's not an exclusive. Also, explain how TTK content is "cut content". I know there has been a lot of cut content, but get your facts straight scrub

I don't, very disappointed in bungie. Even the content we get is limited I just do nf/heroic and vog now. Once fallout is out I don't think I'll play destiny anymore, there's free games that are basically destiny too, I'll just play those.

The third subclass slot was for your locked in spec that had bonuses. They cut that, but the new subclasses are new. TTK has some recycled content for sure, they were clearly planning the events and levels for TTK prior to launch, but you've gone into tinfoil hat territory if you think Oryx's dreadnought has been sitting out there since beta. The shaders and emotes were/are part of the collector's edition, that's a whole other can of worms, but has nothing to do with cut content. I ordered the physical collector's edition just to watch your head bake like a potato. Normally I'm not very antagonistic, but you're looking for it.

1 ReplyWell, to me, the money isn't really a problem. I have the cash to spend on destiny. I am a little put out that the game is cut apart and sold in chunks, but this makes Bungie more money. And with all that extra money they make, they get to keep making new destiny stuff. Like destiny 2. While I don't like the way the video game industry is going, I can't change it. It's evolving. Free to play phone games make more money every year now than console games do. The industry needs to evolve to stay alive. I am willing to pay for my chunks of content to keep Destiny Alive. It's given me countless hours of fun.
