I started playing early October and I class myself as a veteran. I'm sad I didn't get to play alpha, beta or even the first month. I bet it was awesome.

1 ReplyI don't see why day one player wins.. There needs to be a choice for Day1 + grimoire. I see plenty of players who have queen items ( armor or guns) and they have like 1800 grimoire, which means they barely play. Not a veteran.

I say pre-TDB. Where you had to spend hours farming materials. It wasn't fun, but when you made it to 30 you became elite.

2 RepliesI wasn't a day one player, but I started way before the dark below. Like only a month after destiny was released. Soo that should probably count as veteran style :) And no, I do not bother ghost hunting. I don't care too much for my grimoire.

Honestly, if you at least were interested in the game and were following it by day 1 and have been playing for a solid amount of time, you qualify as a vet.

2 RepliesKnowledge generally or skill. Skill with no land beyond. Actually it takes no skill. Try it out. I got some pretty amazing kills with it. Halfway through the air and head shotted somebody and just as I could see over the ledge across the map where he/she was standing.

I hate people who think it's grimoire score or having three characters is what makes a veteran. I have been playing since the alpha I have one 34 and a 31 hunter. And my grimoire is 2875

1 ReplyPlatinum trophy is a better indicator than anything else listed....since you can't really tell if someone is day one other than by their word. Me: week 2.
