Is Prison of Elders now dead content??
Does anyone else feel it dying off or feel as though it already has died off?
I havent done it for weeks (i did 32 this week i think) the level 34 and 35 just offer no real rewards that i want or need, ToO has offered me a shit load of etheric light and some real good weapons but PoE just gives out the shitty queens weapons all the time and even if you get a primary off skolas they arent that good anyway.
When they released this i thought it was refreshing not having another raid to go through.. i sorta wish i did have a raid now lol.
Just gotta hang around and wait for TTK i guess.

EDIT 1: huge majority agree that this is already or about to become dead content which is a shame.
EDIT 2: im seeing a pattern of comments saying 34 and 35 is a waste of time as the rewards are no good.. considering a raid can be done in like 30 min to an hour and give you heaps of rewards where as Skolas can take for ever to kill if you keep having to wipe.. the rewards dont match the effort put in.
EDIT 3: The weapons have useless perks which are hardly usefull in PoE let alone outside of it.

I do a 32 if variks has a really good armor roll. Otherwise fuk PoE. Too time consuming for shit rewards.

I've had an issue getting etheric light. That being said I haven't been playing as much as I used to and am weary to lfg a skolas group. I think if your looking for guaranteed etheric light it has something to offer but not much else.

Comparing going flawless on trials to every prison of elders(32,34,35) Going flawless provides prizes as if you had infinite weapon+armor cores, in which to buy the weapons and gear, had 2 judgements chances, and a guaranteed skolas primary

I like to get the armor when it has good stats, and get my EL from the 34 because I can't get it from trials. Feel lucky you are good at PVP!

It is dead, yes. It was fun for about 3 weeks..but then I realized two things. 1) it wasn't challenging 2) the rewards are garbage

Poe got boring very quickly , no checkpoints was another epic fail . This game had promise but the poor content plus cash grab dlc has spoiled the promise and the ttk don't look like it will have any longevity . I won't be buying ttk until it's priced fairly

It's not... yet. I'm not MLG enough to get a lot out of ToO, so I need to get etheric light somewhere. The lack of checkpoints caused me to stay away from Skolas, though, because it seems like it's just not worth the rewards to spend 2 freaking hours only to lose it all because of some network thing or finish only to get a non-elemental primary that I would immediately dimantle. If they had like a 25%+ drop rate or something I might reconsider but even then the lack of any checkpoint is a killer for those of us who

Poe doesn't offer a ton of great things, but it's a fun distraction at times. Just finished a 35. Got an arc scout. Had to put a plan in place and communicate somewhat at least. It's still fun with the right group but can be utterly frustrating as well.

I dont bother doing them because I feel like the gear and weapons are garbage excluding the exotic bounties that drop.

Did 32-35 on all 3 characters the first 3 weeks. Killed skolas on each burn. By week 4 when it was solar again I did it once and realized its pointless. I now try to run the 32 and 34 here and there. I got an arc auto rifle, void scout and void hand cannon. All useless. Watching my hours spent on skolas reward me with my 35th etheric light and a judgements chance package containing a rocket launcher with shank burn. Yeah no thanks. I think beating skolas should guarantee an exotic drop on the reward screen. Like a nightfall but one that always rewards one. I can run trials and get all 3 characters to the lighthouse each week in 5 hours or less. Doing skolas was more time consuming. Lighthouses + tier packages give you a dozen motes, passage cons, strange coins, 3 etheric light, 2 exotic chances (light house chest + silver package), a piece of armor, a weapon and the gold package gives armor or a weapon. Sorry for the grammar. Typing on my phone and got passionate about this topic.

Yep it's dead alright. I would still be playing it if there was anything to acquire besides stupid shaders. Why? Why do we grind to rank 3 for shaders and not something worth the time?

Agreed. I have no need to run it anymore; I have all the Etheric Light I want/need, and I don't care for the other PoE rewards, at all. I'm just gonna stick with ToO. Better looking stuff, and more practical. PoE, looking back on it now, was most certainly a short term fix for a raid; not a long term one. If HoW had a raid that came out a month or two after release, I'm sure most people would've put up with PoE more than they actually have.
